You have such an amazing ability to capture the tone of the show--Michael's rivalry, the stapler thing and Evelyn are all hystrical and you strike the perfect balance of showing all the characters and progressing the JAM story. I love it...though stopping where you did for a whole week is just so cruel!

Gosh. I'm going to just flat out say I'm so jealous. You have such a knack for those little snippets with the other characters while still giving me my Jam fix.
I'm so glad you can - and lucky that I get to read it!

Okay, I'm finally getting around to reading this one, and there is some really great stuff in here. The "two daddies" conversation made me laugh out loud. The feel of the show is very present in this.

This chapter managed to be angsty, hilarious, sexy, and even a shade fluffy. It's wonderful. Also- the wacky adventures of Ryan and Creed could be it's own show. Fantastic.

Damn it, that's hysterical. Daryl is my hero, but I have to say that Evelyn is closing in rapidly.... And Michael's whole Oprah speech? Priceless! Yeah, and the whole Jim/Pam tied together thing was not bad either....

OMG. Toby! Oscar and Stanley! Phyllis! Jam!
I love you.

"The camera zooms out to show Kelly sitting beside Dwight, the two connected at the arm."
That was HILARIOUS - I can completely picture it, it's exactly something they'd do on the show.
And the kiss...perfect.
Looking forward to the next part, even if it is a week away.

Wow. Funny and just that brief moment of hotness and regret. Can't wait for an update!

I am LOVING this! Seriously, I'm just in awe of how well you write every one of these characters -- the Creed/Ryan stapler bit has me laughing out loud, as did Kelly's comment about Nic Cage looking like a horse. ha! Great work -- keep going!
Author's Response: Thanks. I've had a theory for awhile now that Nicholas Cage is actually half horse.

This is hilarious. I'm loving the Creed stuff, especially, and that Pam is now the one pining after someone in a relationship. I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thank you. I adore Creed and love writing for him.

this is sooo good. probably the best i've read. so realistic and such.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I'm blushing.

Oh man, I just want someone to push Melissa out of a window. My heart is just breaking for Pam. Jim needs to get his act together.
Author's Response: Push Melissa out a window...hmm, that's a good idea ; )

I can understand why Jim never mentioned Pam to Melissa, but Pam was right to be annoyed by it, especially since Jim sat there staring at his fruit cup! Ryan turning around when he saw the three of them in the breakroom was hilarious.
Great story all around. You have been capturing all their voices so well!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. As perfect as he is, Jim's definitely capable of making some mistakes every now and then.

You've really got the rhythm and tone of the show down. Loved it.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! It helps when you've seen every episode eight or nine times ;)

Hee! Creed! Ryan! Kelly! Exclamation points!
Seriously though, you do a fantastic job of getting the feel of a real episode. And I loved Michael's voice-over juxtaposed with Pam at the end of this chapter... reminded me of Jim's VO and the accompanying images at the end of Drug Testing.
Author's Response: Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for.

Oh Pam. Pam, Pam, Pam.
This is so sad.
But thank you for the Michael stuff. At least I giggled through my tears. ;)
Author's Response: We can always trust for Michael to bring some humor into the situation.

"Sometimes he has to be really careful not to call her Katy." - this line gave me hope.
Author's Response: Glad to hear that! Thank you for the review.

Poor Pam. I loved the scene in the breakroom, especially when Ryan went in and then turned around and went back out!
Author's Response: Thanks! Ryan was smart to get out of there as soon as he could.

Oh, it's on. I suspect that our Pam can be downright vicious if she needs to be. Stupid Jim. (I can't wait to see what's next!)
Author's Response: Of course she can! She has to fight for what's rightfully hers...haha.
Date: August 01, 2006 06:39 pm Title: Chapter 3
OMG, the interview with Kelly was so spot-on and hilarious!
Author's Response: Yeah, she's not at all shallow, right?
Date: August 01, 2006 06:30 pm Title: Chapter 3
Ahhh, the vice grip on my heart has substantially loosened. This chapter was a lot easier on my psyche than the last. Yay, for the new girl starting to get annoying and for Pam to do something with her feelings - even if it is to get mad and storm off. Thanks for a great chapter.
Author's Response: Somtimes that's all you can do :) Thanks for the feedback.

Still so sad. But I loved all the bits from the different employees--especially Creed. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you. I love Creed.

Okay, it has taken me nearly 24 hours to review for this chapter. And I only mention that because I usually review on whatever impulse I get immediately after reading. With this one, however, I had to do a lot of processing. I have spent about a month all twitterpated, a little in love, and a little obsessed with all things JAM. I rarely think of anything else. However, this fic was like cold water thrown in my face. Now, I definitely don't mean that in a bad way - at all. In fact, I really am loving this fic. So let me explain... I am 99.9 percent sure that this is about what will happen on the show in the fall. I have kind of known that for a long time, too. But I don't know if it's the realism in certain passages of the story, or if it's because The Office released casting info so I can now put a face to the JAM threat - whatever the reason, this story got to me big time. I've been reading all of this lovely Jim and Pam angst and fluff, etc. etc. and I always find myself relating to and feeling more for Jim than Pam. However, this fic made my heart break for Pam. I can feel for her so clearly and it was so real and so much - that it freaked me out. I mean, I can imagine how it would feel to find your one constant in life, being someone else's constant right in front of your face. Completely shattering. I was honestly depressed for a little while after reading this (which I think should be taken as a compliment towards your great writing) which is why I couldn't review for a full day. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read anymore Office fanfic for awhile. But, the point of this, the longest review I've ever written (rambled), is BRAVO!!!!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you SO much. I am seriously flattered.

I think you are a phenomenal writer. I look forward to your stories, and am never disappointed. I believe that you are secretly a writer of the show sent to appease crazy fanatics like us during the hiatus. I thank you for that. :) Please continue to make me feel for these characters and get into their world for even the briefest of moments.
Author's Response: Who is this? Haha, kidding. Thank you.
