Nice story! The beginning with Pam alone in the rain was very poignant. I think it is very realistic that Jim and Pam would just kind of need time to become friends again before really talking about all their feelings.
And was that jelly bean remark a shout out to my story? Or am I being an egomaniac right now?
Author's Response: Oh, wow! I never noticed the whole jellybeans thing. I had read your story, but when I wrote this story I didn't have that in mind, but maybe your story seeped into my subconscious. By the way, your story was BRILLIANT. Loved it so much! :)

I loved this!
Its funny, because I sort of had the same thought/wish/prediction for the finale -- that Karen would get the job, and that she and Jim would intend to do the long distance thing while Jim stays in Scranton with Pam. It was the most realistic way to keep Jim and Pam apart romantically (something I think the showrunners will have to do) at least for now...allowing them to grow into friends again, and maybe more when Karen (like in your story) inevitably hooks up with a mover-and-shaker who's more her speed.
So, needless to say, I think your vision is spot on! :D Great job!
(Oh and this made me laugh out loud: "...she might want to commit suicide because the stress of her modern office might have caused her to go into depression" Bwahaha!)

It was good. I liked that Dwight drove back to check on her. Realistic, and I liked the rain analogy as well.

Yes, I hope something like this happens in the Finale. I think it's realistic but hopeful!

I really liked Dwight in this - he is kind of all-knowing and I love it.
