Okay, so heres the deal. I was just looking around at older stories (L today), and I clicked on this, so I didn't even read summary or genres or anything.
But the first line, I was like, "Angela?" And I thought I was crazy, because I really was assuming a Jim/Pam piece, but it just came across so ANGELAy that it surprised me, and then I read a few more lines, and I was like, it is Angela.
So congrats on making a your first line so very Angelay.
Its so strange, because right now I tend to think of fetuses as just that. fetuses. But not as babies. But, I don't know what I would do in that position. I could (and have) gone on long long talks about abortion and life, and apparently, a review is not the approriate place for it, so I will just leave it like that.
All of this is so how I can not only imagine anyone in Angela's position reacting, but even Angela herself reacting.
Wow, this was so great. I can so relate to Angela, and you really feel the Dwight/Angela connection in a sweet, not creepy way. So good.
Author's Response:
Guess who decided to go through her reviews this morning to see if she'd responded to all of them?
I'm surprised and also really pleased that you got the Angela vibe from the very first line. That's impressive on both our parts I think.
I guess you can blame science for the fetuses as just fetuses thing. I'm not gonna go into my personal position here, and I didn't want it to be obvious from the story either because I really wanted this to be about Angela and what Angela would think and do in this position.
It's kind of disturbing that I feel the Dwight/Angela connection like I do, but I guess if it makes for a good story I shouldn't complain, right? Actually it's making me a little sad to think about Dwight/Angela right now with the way things are currently going for them, but I have absolutely no doubt at all that they will end up together. There's just no one else who could handle either of them. Weird, but so true.
Anyway, thanks for the review (2 months later!).

I love you! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! Can I have the baby? I've always wanted a Dwangela baby!
Spot on characterization. I love how she blames Dwight, and the the whole, "one plus one equals three instead of two." Thank you thank you thank you!
Author's Response: Well, the ending is left pretty open, so how about Angela goes to live with you for nine months and lets you adopt the baby and then returns to Scranton like nothing's amiss. Poor Dwight though. But whatever, you deserve "It" for your awesome review. I just hope you can cope with one of those thirsty Schrute babies.

Oh, poor Angela. You've really captured the sense of denial and confusion and suppressed guilt that someone like her would go through in this sort of situation.
Author's Response: Thank you. I've never been in this situation, so I'm glad I got it right.

Azlin strikes again! I love the insight into Angela's world. Angela fics are always so unique, perhaps because she's so interesting.
"She’d been around pregnancy before, but mostly just with her cats." made me laugh aloud, and then I felt guilty, because it was such a serious story :-)
Great job!!! Keep writing!!
Author's Response: Yeah, I can't seem to go all the way angsty no matter how hard I try. But honestly, I never really try that hard. I'd really rather make someone laugh than cry. ;)

Poor Angela. She needs some time to adjust. I like your take on how she would try to cope with this, including the thought that she'd momentarily at least think of abortion.
I like how you've related this to her job as an accountant, how Dwight had been up until now a momentary glitch.
The last paragraph is just wonderfully written, and oh so true!!
Please continue to link via TWoP!
Author's Response: Well, okay then and if anyone tries to give me grief about it, I'll just tell them TLK said I could. I'm glad you liked the story!

This is SO Angela. I wouldn't be surprised by the partitioned, planned, highly accounted for nature of her life and I think you caught that.
Author's Response: Yeah, I just felt like this would be such a good conflict for her because it's something that I think she wants eventually, but not like this. Thanks for the review!

"sometimes one plus one equals three instead of two."
you are absolutely brilliant. I loved this. So Angela without being over-the-top Angela that she can often become. I really liked it a lot
Author's Response: Thank you. I see a lot of carictured Angela (and I'll be honest, I sometimes think of her that way), but she really isn't like that to me, so I wanted to give her a moment of her own. Glad you liked it!

awww. that last line is killer. it's really bittersweet, but precious. this is a great scenario. i hope they get outted on the show soon :) dwangela babies would be awesome!
Author's Response: Oh, those poor children. Seriously, though, I'm glad you liked it and that it wasn't too bitter. I can't seem to go all out with the angst, but honestly I like it better this way.

Hooray for an Angela story! I love secondary character fics that give more depth than we're used to seeing, and this one is really good. I love that last line: "sometimes one plus one equals three instead of two." Magnificent. :)
Poor Angela. Now she's going to have the demon spawn of Dwight. Oh, the horror! :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I wasn't really planning to write it, but once I did, I ended up really liking it, so I decided to go ahead and post it anyway. I'm so glad you liked it too.
