I was so happy when I came home late tonight to find another chapter.  Like all good stories, I just can't wait to turn the page.  You've done a wonderful job capturing the essence of Pam and Jim while creating a plausible AU relationship.

Nice chapter!  It's really interesting that he delayed telling her this as long as possible.  I like her reaction, too.  And she fell asleep on his shoulder!!! Not...a bad day.

I'm comfortable with any level of well-done smut.  With this story, hopefully you're talking about smut between Jim and Pam...Because that whole Michael/Dwight thing has been done to death.  Same with Ryan/Angela smut.  So just don't go there, friend.

Um, please have Jim bring back a photo of himself on the Great Wall.  It's a must-have souvenir.  Bonus points if it's framed in a lovely frame that looks Great Wall-ish.  Extra bonus points if he's leaning.

Also, in case you've never been there...sometimes people come back from China with bootleg DVDs of movies.  They're super-cheap, like under a dollar.  Sometimes, the quality is bad, like there's people getting up to get popcorn in front of the person filming.  Often, the description of the movie on the back of the case doesn't match the movie title and picture on the front of the case, or it's clearly badly translated (a few times).  For example, on the front, "Spider Man" seems to star Pide Paike (you remember Pide in that one, right?  He or she was awesome in the role of somebody or other) and Willan Daful (okay, closer, anyway).  On the back: "Footage of underwater demolition teams at work provides a unique prelude tothe memorable stoir y of Palua's invasion.  During the campaign,U.S. Tr oopsface a hideous fight over Bloody Nose Ridge, a rocky mountain honeyconbewith well defended caves.  Astonishing film..."  That's 'as is', spacing and all.  The information on the bottom of the back refers to the Warner Bros. movie "Contact" with Jodie Foster.  Yeppers, at least 3 movies confused there.  Things like special features, subtitles, deleted scenes may work badly or not at all.  Like Pam (will soon), I know someone who came back from a trip to China.  In case you've never seen this type of thing, I thought I'd tell you.  And also, let me tell you that cheap bootleg DVDs from China are a terrible thing, and I would never have anything like that in my house.  That Spider Man one, I... memorized.  Yeah, that's the ticket.

Great chapter, anyway!!!  I'm enjoying this so much.  Loved the Dwight/Angela interaction and the whole air conditioning thing!  It is amazing, actually, when there's a big heat wave, that people do this kind of thing.  "Let's eat at your place, you have air conditioning."  "What should we do?" "I don't know, something with air conditioning."  I really like how you fit in this little bit of human nature. 

Wow! My emotions were going crazy! I went from laughing, nervous-nail-biting, to frustrated, sad, and finally awwwwwwwwwww!!  First off you spoil us with another update! YAY!! but Dwight?!?! lol how great when he was trying to get Pam over to his apartment! lmao....So China huh? interesting, is there gonna be a certain ex there? hmmm...wow I just had to read this chapter twice because it was soo well written. As to the steamy scenes, whatever you're comfortable with writing, I'm comfortable with  reading. but wow.....just simply a great chapter.

I'm getting more and more caught up in this story! Who's Jim's ex, I wonder? Karen? He certainly seems to be leaving out important details. A 6-month marriage seems like it was just not meant to be, but it seems to have affected Jim on pretty deep levels...

I love love LOVE this story!!! I totally forgot while I was reading this chapter that this fic is a WIP and I was vastly disappointed when I got to the end of the chapter and there was no "next" for me to click.  ;-)  Keep it up!!!! I love everything about it.

I would hope that Jim is not using Pam to get back at his ex-wife because he knew she would be there. I don't think he is though, because I think he actually likes Pam. Yay this story! 

Wow, this was kind of an intense filled chapter. I'm glad Pam started to ask questions, even if it was at Jim's prodding and moodiness. I loved Michael in the limo! lol that was hilarious! You definetly have multi dimentional characters which is part of a great fic! I hope you post tonight, but either way have fun at your party and another great chapter. Can't wait to see what happens after the gala! 

Nice touch adding Creed to the mix of characters.  The dress sounds a little bit like the one Pam wore to Phyllis's wedding.  Can't wait to find out more about Jim's divorce.  Not sure who I'm expecting his ex to be, Karen is the obvious choice but Jan could be really interesting.

Can I just say that I actually like Dwight in this story. I mean i LOVE Dwight on the show because...well.....he's Dwight. But this Dwight is so close to normal it's ridiculous...I love him. And Pam. And Kelly. And Creed. And this story!!

Man I'm gone for four days and you have a whole story here.  Sorry I'm late.  I am totally in love with this story.  It's in my favorites and I can't wait for more.  It does have a slightly 'Pretty Woman' vibe with Jim paying for everything, but it's cute, not creepy. 

Well another amazing chapter.  Will Jim ever find out the perks of living above a bakery?lol. The dialog is spot on, it definetly flows just the show itself. I hope you will post another chapter. I promise if you do I'll leave feedback! lol....then again even if you posted tomorrow I still would leave feedback. this is an awesome story. We can't have you facing writers block! Anything we can do to help let us know, plus I love Central Park is amazing! I love strawberry field (I'm a huge beatles fan!)
