I love this version of the Halpert sister.

Its always so strange whenever I can like, feel the music inside like my chest... it does sort of give you a strange feeling... it is sorta (for me), a mix of feeling powerful and powerless. Maybe thats just me, but yeah...
And I also can relate to the feeling of there is a million things that you could be doing, but instead, just being outside and doing that.
Jim has a good relationship with his sister... that is so nice. Yeah, so not true with me and my brother. And yeah, I would never EVER EVER talk to my brother about sex. Nope. Never. It doesn't exist in this family. Nope nope nope nope.
Great job! I am enjoying reading your stories! I think I may have read a few over on LJ or something, but not this one....:)
Author's Response:
It's a kind of hum. I like it; I love my music loud and drowning.
Thank you very, very much.

I really like this, but I feel like it should continue. It feels like it doesn't have an ending, that it just stops. And it's so lovely otherwise, that I'd like more of a natural ending, or at least just...more.
Author's Response:
It frustrated me, too, in the beginning, but it does feel a bit like finality; we cycle back to the image of Jim we got in the beginning, but upping the treble instead of the bass. And, sometimes, it's best to go out leaving the audience wanting. Isn't that why we write fanfiction? *laughs*
Thank you very much!

I have no idea how you do that. Nothing much happens, if anything at all, there's no conflict, barely any interaction, almost zero introspection and yet you still manage to suck me in completely despite using references I don't know about (never going to read or watch Jane Austen thankyouverymuch) and original characters (which I usually hate).
Author's Response:
It frustrated me that absolutely nothing happened, but I was sick of looking at this at the time and went ahead and posted it. It's grown on me since, though that may just be because I love Liz with a passion that really shouldn't apply to OCs.
P&P: Boy meets girl. Boy insults girl indirectly. Girl hates boy. Girl meets "mortal enemy" of boy and believes wicked things of the boy. Boy falls in love with girl. Boy tells girl. Girl rejects. Boy writes letter debunking everything girl thought of boy. Girl presumes will never meet boy again. Girl meets boy again. Boy and girl very awkward. Girl's younger sister marries "mortal enemy". Boy salvages family's reputation. Girl finds out. Boy and girl meet again. Boy and girl realize they love each other. Boy asks for girl's hand in marriage, and girl's father says yes. The scene where they realize they love each other, in the film, is absolutely breathtaking; Darcy (Boy) walks over this ridge in the fog of dawn and it's just gorgeous every single time.
Thank you very much!
