At first when I read the note that you changed the ending I thought you maybe like got Jim fired or something and I was like oh great I'm going to get like hate mail for my idea of like having Jim get fired or something.
But I love this ending loads more :) Glad to see Jimbo at least has some repercussions (sp?) and any time Michael & Jim role play... it only leads to good times. I can't wait to see who all shows up in the next chapter ;)

I finally made a penname for myself and as soon as I saw this was updated I HAD to write a review. Charcoal and Watercolors is one of the only AU stories I actually enjoy, and I really like how you've captured the characters with their normal personalities in this completely different situation.
Thought I was REALLY pissed Jim missed the birth. Humph. Is there going to be more Karen drama?
Anyway, I just wanted to say I really like both stories and I'm glad you made a sequel. Good luck with your writing!

I promise that if they have another child sometime in the future (haven't thought that far quite yet though...) that Jim will not miss that one. That would just be far too cruel of me.
There will be more Karen drama in the chapters to come...probably not too far from now, actually. I definitely have some plans for her. :)

ahh! I love the ending! I'm so glad you added that in :) It makes me so happy! I just loved how many cute/touching moments there are. It rocks, you already know how I feel about it but just add to say I loved the new additions ;)

I'm kind of glad you said that! (Although that must not have been a whole lot of fun as a kid) But I like that I'm able to -- hopefully -- convey a sense of realism here. :)
Karen does need to keep her hands to herself...I think she will...for the most part.
