she could never be his number one
Love this line. Good call.
Author's Response: Thank you! We all know who his real number one is...

Oh, poor Karen. She never, ever could be his number one, no matter how hard she tried to put herself in that position. WONDERFUL use of this challenge.
Author's Response: I know...despite my happiness for Jim and Pam, I really do feel bad for Karen. She never had a chance against Pam. Thank you so much!

This isn't cheating at all--in fact, I think it fits perfectly! It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the speed dial. :) Wonderful!
Author's Response: Thanks! You know, I've never seen Seinfeld, not even one episode. I keep meaning to check it out cause it's supposed to be so good, but I always forget. Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing.

Nice - a good look inside that beautiful boy's head. :-)
Author's Response: Thank you very much! And, God, is that boy's head beautiful... :o)

My speed dial one is voicemail... but I love that analogy, and a good 55 words. I am LOVING these
Author's Response:
Duhh, I completely forgot about voicemail! Ohh well, minor slipage.
I know, this is an awesome challenge. I could write 50 more of these! Thanks for reviewing!

This is my favorite fic I've read of Jim in his car right after the interview. I especially like this part:
Speed dial one; she programmed it herself.
But she could never be his number one.
Author's Response: I think that's my favorite part too. I ended up with much more than 55 words at first and had to erase a lot, but I made sure I kept that in. I'm glad you liked it and thanks a lot for the review!
