love it!!
Author's Response:
Thanks! And I have to say (even though someone on TWoP joked that I say this to everyone, when I promise I don't -- have said it to only two other people, LOL), I love your name. Absolutely LOVE Freddie Mercury. :o)
Thanks for reviewing!

Such a great beginning. I love how perfectly spot on all the characters are. You really captured exactly their ticks. Can't wait to read more!!!
Author's Response: Oh please -- you're just saying that because I banged on my keyboard and ordered you to. :oD Thanks for the review (and the patient beta-ing, BTW).

Sorry...I missed that this was "Chapter 1", so I guess we might see her "spunky" side emerge...hope so and I can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response:
No worries - and yeah, there'll be alcohol and a late night or two and...all sorts of juicy stuff. I'm absolutely incapable of resisting putting them in copromising positions. ...So to speak. :O)
Thanks again!

Very nicely done. Is there a chance we might get to see Pam's "spunky" side emerge over the weekend in a follow-up chapter?
Author's Response:
Thank you! And hahah re: Pam's "spunky" side. In a word: yes. :O) Thanks for reviewing! (And hello, BTW - I don't think I've seen you around these parts before...or, ur, read you around these parts.)
Thanks again!

::bounce-bounce:: It's embarrassing how happy I get when I get the e-mail reminder that girl7 has written another amazing story. Probably as excited as Jim was to see Pam show up. :-)
This is a great set up to a verrrry [/jim] promising story. Lovely location. Potential for mass consumption of alcohol. Jim. I mean, what more could a gal want? ;-) Can't wait for the next chapter. (or for the kissing.... c'mon, you know I have to throw that in. *wink* <-- that's Smiley!Jim's wink, y'know. Hee!)
Author's Response:
It's embarrassing how happy I get when I see that I have a review from you! And it's even more embarrassing that -- I swear to god -- I can't even think about your smiley!Jim icon without grinning like a jackass. :o)
Glad you're enjoying the premise thus far (I was so worried that it was totally boring), and just for smiley!Jim icon, I will give you a slight spoiler: There will be kissing. That's all I'm sayin'. :O)
Thanks for reviewing -- and for making me grin like a jackass (always a good thing)!

I love Season 2 so much, and I love your writing so much, and I love the endless possibilities for this. I'm looking forward to where you take this, it shall be interesting indeed. Hee.
Author's Response:
Hee -- well the interesting possibilities are exactly what drove me to write this thing. (Jim? Pam? A gorgeous resort? With a bar? And questionable sleeping arrangments?) :o)
Thanks so much for reviewing!

Awesome! I love you. I love your stories. I love you writing your stories! (I think I pulled something reaching for the Kras reference) ;)
In all seriousness, you really are a fantastic writer. You should consider doing it for a living - you'll be rich!
Author's Response:
OMG - I am a rotten, rotten hussy; I didn't catch the JK thing at first! Naughty me. :o)
Thank you so much for your kind words -- seriously. And thanks for reviewing so quickly!

I'm reviewing again b/c I just realized this isn't actually Season 2, but it's pre-season 3, so that rocks - because, well, Season 3 was heartbreaking!
Author's Response:
Heh - I hear you. And as much as I love the idea that things are okay between them now (because i refuse to believe that their date didn't lead to months of summertime bliss, LOL), I do miss the sweetness & sexiness of season 2, so I wanted to write it (well, pre-season 2).
Thanks again for the feedback!

Awww.....seriously - this made my day. Why? Well, because you wrote it for one. Also, I love anything Season2. And because I can already tell it's going to be made of awesome! Your Dwight is not only hysterical, but spot on! More, and soon, please!!
Author's Response:
You are so sweet -- I'm glad I made your day! (Glad you liked my Dwight, too; I find it so hard to write him sometimes.)
I've got the next two chapters done (just need to be edited and re-worked a bit), so I should be posting updates to this one fairly quickly.
Thanks for reviewing!

It was so great to get the e-mail reminder that you had posted a new story! And this looks like it will be another great one. I loved how you built the tension - even though I knew Pam wasn't going to skip the trip, I was excited and smiling when she showed up in the parking lot. Can't wait for the rest!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the quick response! I'm always ridiculously nervous when I post a new fic, so it's nice to get such quick feedback. Thanks again!

Oh my. Pam, Jim and a bus. Hold on to your butts....
Author's Response:
Okay, I have never heard that saying ("hold on to your butts") before, but I am totally working it into my lexicon from now on. :o)
Thanks for the uber-quick review; you are all kinds of awesome...
