Nicely done yet again! I'm glad you wrote this, it was so beautiful! This is just how I think Jim and Pam would really be with a child. You're an incredible author and I love everything you have written! I've read everything you've written on here and it's all fantastic!

This is my favourite part:
Pam carries the dishes into the kitchen, rinses them and sets them in the drain board. She hurries back and cuddles up next to Jim on the sofa. “You know, next Friday I can see if my mom will watch her. We can go out if you want.”
“Maybe.” He smiles. “But this is really nice too.”
I'm so proud of you! I think you should write a series of homelife with the Halperts. I would eat that up like spaghetti!

Aww, this was so sweet. I love married Halpert fluff stories. I do remember that discussion on the boards, and yes, this scenario totally fits into what Jim would be thinking when Wallace asked him about his future.

Don't mind at all...I'm flattered if that's what gave you the idea! And you're right, spaghetti just seems to work, doesn't it, LOL? (Sorry about the second review - wasn't sure how else to do this....) Anyway, hope you'll write more of these little scenes.
Author's Response: I'll take any reviews I can get! LOL Thanks for the encouragement. I am starting to feel more comfortable writing. It's very cathartic! Oh and back to the spaghetti...I forgot to mention that another reason I chose it was that I was trying to think of something easy that Pam, being a new mom, could realistically make for them. I couldn't see her just "whipping up" something exotic like Chicken Tetrazzini!

What a lovely image...simple and quiet and just right. I like that you chose an ordinary domestic moment to celebrate - perfect for them (also glad I'm not the only one who thinks a shared bowl of spaghetti = love ;-) Very nicely and cleanly written.

I kept trying to come up with other things for them to eat and spaghetti just seemed so right. I thought it was much more romantic for Jim to "twirl spaghetti onto a fork" for Pam than to "cut her meat"! I guess I was paying homage to your story in a way.
