I love the countdown idea! So fun. And stories with IMing are always a lot of fun.
I like the idea of everyday a new conversation, but I'll so be reading them either way, so...
Nice work so far: 'Just promise not to forget me when you're famous.' Makes me so excited for the last few. (And all of the ones in between, too!)
Author's Response: Yeah, I'm already a little anxious about writing the Season 3 im's, it's gonna be tough, but like the show, it will pay off in the end :)

Too cute! I'm convinved the only reason 'Time of your life' exists is for video montages. Good call.
Author's Response: Yep, I'm inclined to agree :)

This is really adorable so far. I love reading IM conversations, so I hope you continue this. I love how you used the line that was on Pam's note from "The Job." I'm sure it was no accident, either. ;) Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: No, no accident with the "don't forget us when you're famous" reference :) Thanks for the review!

Great idea! I love it already. Especially the "don't forget us when you're famous" reference. Hey, if they put a "Faces of Jim Halpert" featurette on the next Office DVDs...I'd watch it! :-) I say update however often you like, as long as you update!

Cute. I like the idea of updates--like a daily fix until 9/27 : )

That is adorable -- a montage of Jim faces

Daily would be good ;o) I'm not too greedy, am I?
Author's Response:
Ha, I like that picture. I was actually thinking of this fanvid when I wrote this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWuf1B_Fx7A
No, you're not greedy, maybe just a little demanding ;)

So cute. No he can't forget her when he's famous. I'm glad she made him promise.
You do it whatever way you like. TWSS. Seriously, it's your story. See how the writing goes.

Oh, such a good idea! I can't wait to read all of them and I love Pam making fun of Jim and his faces!
Author's Response: I do too, I mean, she notices all his mugging, right? Right?

Oooh, ladama, this sounds like it's going to be a great way to while away the 50! or so days left! Looking foward to more IM from you.
Author's Response: I think it is, though I already have several chapters written that I'm itching to post. But I'll try to limit myself to one a day.

Aww. You even got the yogurt label note in there!
I'd say, your choice on when to update. Don't paint yourself into a corner with promises, right? I'm just going to favorite it, so I'll know when you update.
Author's Response: Yeah, I learned my lesson with "Anywhere But Here" on making promises (I used to think it would motivate me to write, but really it did the opposite). I'm just concerned that it would be too "spamy" to update with a little chapter everyday. But people seem to like the daily update idea, so I'll do that (if the chapter is ready of course)

This is beautifully Jim and Pam. I was really struck by that deleted scene as well; what have they not been showing us, since we don't get to see the IMs? I'm glad you'll clear this up for me. ;)
I especially liked "I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever." "I know, it's been, what, five minutes?" These two are adorable together. When I first saw the pilot, I hadn't seen the British version, and didn't know much about the whole thing. I was shocked at the sudden intrusion of "Roy's my fiance". Your little chapter here really fits into the 'why' of my shock.
I love this idea for a story, and what you're doing with it.
Author's Response:
It's still a little jarring when Roy comes walk in in the pilot, I think. They also made no effort to make him personable at all for the first few episodes, so it still makes me go "C'mon, Pam, open your eyes!"
I'm glad you find this "beautiful Jim and Pam" :)

Pam called his camera-faces "cute"! *Squee!* That just warms my heart, and I bet it gave Jim a little pick-me-up too :)
Author's Response: I'm sure it did too. I'd like to think that Pam might be a little bolder on IM

Ooh, if you go for a quickie chapter every day, you could be in the running with Muggins & Moxie for multi-chapter epics!
P.S. I lurve Pam & Jim IM'ing, so bring it on!
Author's Response: Hmm, I don't know if this could reach the epic proportions of Squirrel or Girly-Girl, but maybe . . .
