For some reason, this was my favorite part:
But maybe he isn’t content with that because he keeps sort of grabbing at her fingers with his. Just a little, just loosely. And he lets them go the second he actually has them like it was an accident. He keeps doing it until he finally just holds on to her.
Probably because I know exactly what that's liie, and it gave me butterflies.
I love al these little missing scenes.

This can't end. I say you keep it uncompleted and wait for next season. Loved this last chapter.

I've really enjoyed this whole series, but this one is particularly lovely. I especially liked the last couple of lines - so subtle and simple and touching.

Had to mop myself up off the floor after Jim (finally!) took his fingers off her dress. Jeez. And then you gut-punched with that last paragraph.
Bravo ;)

"It’s the sort of feeling that right now makes her twist in her seat and pull at the seatbelt because she’s sure that it’s choking her."
That is fantastic. And, OK, Jim has tissues in his car? AND he uses fabric softener? And, and, and? Sigh.
You capture their voices so well. I just love these.

"She watches his fingers slide from them gently and then they’re gone and she looks up and he isn’t there anymore."
Oof. Also love the image of her fingernails tapping the bear's plastic eyes. Glad she gives him one anyway.

"...she’s seen him deal cards before and there’s something in the way he flicks his wrist that causes her to close her eyes and arch her body against Roy’s chest."
Um, hot?
I can feel how quiet her kitchen is, and how his voice must reverberate in her ear, even if he's speaking quietly, and ooooohhhh.
Awesome.
And also, the mental image of the card is great!

Whoa, great minds think alike! I totally think Pam made that decision herself. Love that she wants Jim's opinion.

Ok, PLEASE write for Drug Testing and Conflict Resolution, because your serial is my favorite. There's nothing about it that makes me cringe - it all feels very authentic. Nice job!

This was such a wonderful series. The idea of Dwight as Cupid on a Valentine's Day card was hilarious. Yet, right after, the vignette from Michael's Birthday made me want to cry. The Casino Night story was the perfect ending to the series. I hope you do continue this series next season. :)

"The dress she wore for him. Not for Roy. Not for anyone. Just him." - that was beautiful. I am really going to miss your series. I've really enjoyed them so much!

I'm surprised Pam put Jim's card on the frig where Roy can see it but I thought Jim's drawing was adorable!

I love that Jim is so supportive of her taking the internship vs Roy saying it was a risk with no guarantees. Heck Roy, life itself is a risk with no guarantees! Great chapter.

Hey, I missed several of these? How did that happen?
Aaaanyways, loved this one, and loved all the previous ones, too. And I totally, totally believe that Pam wore that dress for Jim.

there's so much hope in this last piece - love it

That's such a tough episode b/c he hasn't seen her in a week, and then doesn't see her for most of that day, either. Your idea that it's like he isn't getting enough oxygen is perfect.

Lovely. You make it so easy to see them at the bowling alley. And Yay, Phyllis. And I love that he tells her the truth about letting her win, even if she doesn't believe it. And sweet exchange with the Hooters waitress. And, and, and...

Ah Jim. Just when I don't think he could possibly break my heart again you come along and make him - in the best of ways. It's amazing how you capture them so perfectly in so few words.

Short. Sweet. Simple. Perfect.

Because I missed you, too isn’t any declaration of love, but it’s close enough for now.
That encapsulates almost the whole of season 2 for Jim.
I really enjoy this series!

This was so heartbreakingly beautiful - "Because I missed you, too isn’t any declaration of love, but it’s close enough for now".

I really loved all these. I know I read some of them over at ff.net, but I read the last five are so here. Lovely additions to the episodes. Beautiful.

"It's close enough for now" pretty much sums everything up. The way he seemed to take any small thing he could get from her breaks my heart. This chapter is perfect, just like all the others. I love this series!

Oh, Jim- grabbing whatever he can. I can imagine her smile, and how he sees it. This hurts, because it is so true to them.
