Ha! These are really making me chuckle. This was *such* a Michael line. Love it!
Author's Response: So glad you are enjoying these, and especially that that sounded like Michael. Michael is so hard to write for me, so that is great.
Date: August 28, 2007 12:47 pm Title: Michael
ohhohoho Michael. Michael and Jim..... Mim are total BFF, for realsies.
And girl problems definitely are not fun, Michael. hee.
I'm still brainstomring. I (no joke) helped someone today who's name was the same as his last name. Todd Todd. I was like sitting here with my mouth open and are you serious?! Yep, it was. Why would you do that to your child? Seriously. Some people......
Maybe I'll watch that episode of Friends tonight when Ross/Rachel are talking about names..... after wooing said teller of course ;) Hahaha, anyways focusing: Great job!!!! More, more, more.... [/Jim in The Fight]
PS you're rubbing off on me. My reviews for you are becoming more and more EmilyHalpert-esque. (In the best possible way of course!)
Author's Response:
I wouldn't want girl problems. I hate 'em.
Todd Todd. Hmm... Halpert Halpert? Nah, that doesn't work. Darnit.
So, maybe I should do a chapter with a veto theme... I may just.
And I love getting EmilyHalpert-esque reviews, haha. I am a very powerful influence. You will channel Emily, you WILL channel Emily. Next thing you know, you will be spending all your free time volunteering at the Red Cross.

I am loving this - it's cracking me up. Probably I should not be reading ff at work, but it's just so well done, I can't stay away!
Author's Response: Well, I was writing this while I should be doing homework, so it makes sense to be reading it at work. Glad to help you ... not work :D
Date: August 28, 2007 11:44 am Title: Michael
Oh Michael. it's always about him isn't it? I hope Jim and Pam weren't seriously thinking about naming their child Michael. lol. Michael Scott never would let them hear the end of it.
Author's Response: I think Pam and Jim have an automatic veto on Michael. I am sure it is just wishful thinking on his part. Just assuming wrong. As always
Date: August 27, 2007 09:48 pm Title: Summer
Oh SOOOOOOOOOO good! How about Jim Beam?...sorta "junior"...but not. lol
Author's Response: that either sounds like something Michael would say.... or a British person. Maybe a British Michael. Haha
Date: August 27, 2007 08:37 pm Title: Summer
Oooh jack daniels.... now that's a good name. I think they should go with that :)
Would she make an exception if they called her the Winter Warlock? Hmm?
Lovely job Jess ;) I can't wait to see more!!
Author's Response: It works, plus they have a first name and a last name built into one! How perfect. Dude, but that just gave me another idea!
Date: August 27, 2007 08:10 pm Title: Summer
Beautiful! I love this one.
Author's Response: :D. Thanks!
Date: August 27, 2007 07:14 pm Title: Summer
Bwah ha ha ha. Great! Keep them coming!!
Author's Response: I so will. These are addictively fun!
Date: August 27, 2007 07:13 pm Title: Angela
lol!! Well, what do they expect from asking Angela. :)
Author's Response: Exactly. Good names, warped reason.
Date: August 27, 2007 05:38 pm Title: Summer
You made me laugh out loud again! I love it!
Author's Response: So glad that you are still finding these funny. They are so much fun to write!
Date: August 27, 2007 05:06 pm Title: Allison
No joke, I have three sisters and two of them are named Jennifer and Alison. Needless to say, I'm a little creeped out now. Aside from that, though, this was totally cute! :)
Author's Response: Haha, wow, that is rather freaky. Totally coincidental I promise. *says as she stalks Azlin's facebook profile for more name choices*
Date: August 27, 2007 03:11 pm Title: Angela
Ha! You forgot coveting! I think they'd ask for Angela's opinion just so they would know what to ignore. I like how you changed this one to be someone else's perspective - good idea.
Author's Response: I like all the names, just... not from Angela. I do have a few more opinions thrown in. I am having way to much fun writing these. And I did take your suggestions also... I have one that is stuck at 54 words and is annoying the crap out of me. Haha
Date: August 27, 2007 01:36 pm Title: Angela
"should have more up soon"? Hump. Soon isn't now, man.
Oh Angela. I love your judgmental ways. And if any child is going to need help it's Dwangela's kids. Whew. Those'll be some crazy kids, man. :)
Can't wait to see the next ones... er.. again!
Author's Response: I really thought I uploaded another chapter by the time you reviewed. Apparently, I only did so in my head. And I do have two or three new ones written that you haven't seen yet... haha.
Date: August 27, 2007 09:38 am Title: Angela
If Angela is Catholic, she would know that NO baby is born innocent.
Author's Response: *bad catholic raises hand* oops, minor detail... totally forgot about that. apparently sleeping through church isn't the greatest thing in the world
Date: August 25, 2007 03:33 pm Title: Allison
Fun, Emily! This is so true, also. When trying to find names, you stay away from the name of the weird kid you knew in kindergarten, and old boyfriends and girlfriends, and the weird uncle who doesn't get what appropriate behavior is...
Lovely.
Author's Response:
I am having so much fun thinking of names i like and then thinking of reasons to reject them.
Thanks for the review :)
Date: August 25, 2007 03:05 pm Title: That's What She Said
Oh this just gets better and better! I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. Since you are like the goddess of cute baby stories, I am so glad that you like this (and yes, they don't have a baby yet... but they will! either that or they are thinking of names for no reason... haha)
Date: August 25, 2007 02:41 pm Title: Allison
so cute. I love married Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: :D. So do I. I just wish it was Jim and Emily, but whatever I can get
Date: August 25, 2007 01:41 pm Title: Allison
LOL! I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a chapter 2 to this and now I read there will be more?!? Yay!
Author's Response: I am glad glad it was a pleasant surprise, because yes, in the coming days there will be even more. Who knew that there were so many words to describe choosing names
Date: August 25, 2007 01:30 pm Title: Allison
Ha ha. *sigh* ohhhh Jim.
Thanks so much for adding for adding another chapter. Love it!
And what's this I read in the review before mine. There is more to come? Yay!!
Author's Response: Inspiration struck, and I love it. And yes, there are more little chapters to come... I think last count I was up to.... 7 more after this? Haha. Once I started writing, I couldn't stop!
Date: August 25, 2007 01:27 pm Title: Allison
Oh Jim Jim Jim. You have so much to learn about girls. Haha. Don't name your kids after past gfs! Seesh.
In other news, I'm trying my best to send the rain to you! You can have it ALL you want!! I'll read up on rain dances and work on that for ya ;) haha
I like Jennifer and Allison for names. Very nice and cute names. Great job EH. Can't wait til you post the other little ditties that rocked my socks off too!! :) (Spoiler alert!)
Author's Response:
So you just spoiled the fact I had more :D. Haha. I find it so funny that people are like "o there is more" because of your review. You rock in so many ways.
Thanks for the rain dances and all that jazz. It is thundering here, so you may be on to something.

Very cute story, Emily. I love the last line about the baby's first words. Ha! No Michael, then.
Author's Response: I used to like the name Michael... but now I can't help but think of Michael Scott...

THIS IS PERFECT!
Author's Response: thanks so much. i'm grinning like a fool. haha!

Aw! So cute! Love it!
Also, in true Emily style I think I'll ramble on for a bit about how I originally read this this morning, and I should've just reviewed it then because now I'm sitting here with a big bandage on my elbow from giving blood earlier, and it's a little bit harder to type now. Giving blood was good though, even though I nearly fainted. And it's funny how in the paperwork they say that almost everyone is perfectly fine both before and after they donate, but I think of all the times I've donated there were only a couple times when I've been "perfectly fine." I almost always get a little woozy and have to sit down, and oh! someone should write a story about Jim and Pam giving blood together and one of them faints and the other one freaks out about it and makes the nurses give them all sorts of special attention. Plus we'll be able to find out all about their medical histories which could be a lot more interesting than it sounds because they ask you all sorts of questions about whether you've left the country in the last few years and if you've been pregnant and stuff. And now that I've rambled for a lot longer than 55 words, I think I'll finally be done! ;)
Author's Response: Oh Azlin, I love so much about the things you choose to be. You rock the mostests.
I can't donate blood. I really keep planning on it. But see, I donated the first time and I was SO proud and I loved it. I donated it the second time, and I fainted like two hours later. And then I donated another time, and I totally just fainted like nearly immediatly. So, I am really nervous about doing it, but every time I see the blood mobile (nearly every week on campus), I feel really guilty. I keep saying I will, I never do.
Okay, and since I am a nerd, this is what I did. I KNEW I had read a story where Pam and Jim donate blood. And I read TWO.

However, I may write one more.... although I would suggest you do... since you have more recent experience with it (my last time was like in 2003!)
Again, you totally rock!

That was very cute. That little Jimmy, he's a rascal!
Nice work!
Author's Response: Hehe, I love little Jimmy... *giggles and blushes*

hehe...very cute. The mere thought of Jim and Pam discussing baby names makes me smile. It reminds me of the conversations my husband and I would have when we would go back and forth about names. He also vetoed anything remotely unisex, lol.
Author's Response: :D. I am so glad that everyone is in agreement about unisex names, since I have never had to pick out names (except for a new character I was writing), I just kind of thought of that randomly, so glad it makes sense.
