This is such a different take, because most stories with Pam's mom have had Pam's mom supporting Jim, and not really convincing her it was just cold feet, so its a nice difference. Just really making Pam even more confused, which works well.

Author's Response: thanks for your feedback. i started writing this before i'd seen "sexual harassment," so pam's mom was semi-formed in my mind already. i think seeing her didn't change things too much. like all folks, i think her mom only knows what pam tells her. with not all the cards on the table, i think she's going to feel a bit ambivalent about jim AND roy. so, all the women in the beesly house are confused.rni totally respect that you stay away from fics that are not your scene. i'll definitely email you about beta-ing, thanks!
