I might be the only one here but I started this chapter and admit I have to skip it. It's just not my thing and too far from their characters or who they are to me. I will keep reading in the future. I"m not trying to hurt your feelings just wanted to give my thoughts.
Author's Response: That's totally fine and I completely respect that opinion. And honestly, I agree with it. My own very favorite fics here are the ones that ring truest, most especially girl7's work, which just floors me. This specific story is more of an expressive sexual fantasy outlet for me than a direct referential (or reverential) depiction of Jim and Pam. I'm actually surprised that more people don't hate it and I am fully aware of the improbability of this kind of circumstance involving the characters as originally written. If you read the rest of the chapters, you may see the two impulses fighting each other a bit...Anyway, thanks for your honesty. I really appreciate it.rnrn

Author's Response: Yeah. I was kind of blushing when I wrote it. Stephen King, a writer whose work I don't particularly love, once said that "a writer is someone who trains his mind to misbehave." which I think is one of the more brilliant things ever said on the subject.
