That's tragically ironic, considering how long it must have taken her to finally get herself together. Good insight!

Sad, tragic. Great characterization, though, because Oscar is an open, giving person who would great a stranger. I think this series is a brilliant idea.

This is so intriguing! What a great idea, especially considering how enigmatic Creed is.

:( That's so sad. This almost seems like an entry into another, bigger story. Thanks for this peek into a sacred moment in Stanley's life.

I was filing through the rec thread on the boards, and I'm so glad that I found this! It was so simplistic yet amazing, and fit with each character perfectly. Great job...thanks for writing.

Wow, what a great and fitting ending to this, larry! You did a really nice job with these, and it was a wonderful idea. I love that Michael was the last to go, sort of lovingly reigning over The Office universe even in death.

Aw, how sad! I would have liked the "in each other's arms" option also, but this is more realistic, isn't it? I'm glad you stuck to your guns and did it the way you planned.

Oh, how sad. I wonder who's supervising Pam -- is it their kids, rotating the mom-sitting? This could be about many, many elderly couples. That's a good, long life, though he had, though.

Poor sad Angela. If there's an afterlife, hers would be filled with cats and Dwight. Well, if Dwight made it to the same place, that is. Hmm...

Aw. I could see him sitting around singing in his kitchen... he'd be about 75. At least he found two loves, right? Not a bad life.

Poor Roy. I'd like to think he instead finds someone who's a better fit for him than Pam. I nominate Katey the hot girl.

And she was rit-dit-dit-dit-DEAD! (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
Karen finally succumbed to the 'Nard Dog. It's inevitable. I like that she found some happiness eventually; too bad it took so long, though.

I was a completely loyal reader to this story. All of them were so heartbreaking. I think you had such a great read on all of the characters and managed to include such appropriate personal touches to each story. Very well done! I'm sad to see this story go.

Nice job wrapping it up, the last three were very effective. I for one would definitely like to see you flesh out this storyline more.

Aw, the last three definitely got me teary. Very bittersweet. Well done!

Yup, definitely crying now. I really wanna hate you (just kidding!) for the Pam chapter because guh! But I don't. Because it was sweet, if not heart-wrenchingly sad.

Oh Larry. You make me so sad. But in a good way. Is that possible? Anyway this is really sweet. And I liked Michael's chapter too. Actually I liked them all. Basically you're awesome and I'm really glad you've killed everyone now so you can stop killing people and start writing happier things.

This was awesome. I thought this was a good idea, and by the end I was tearing up a little bit. I love that Michael was the last to die and he called Guiness to see if he was the oldest man alive! So perfectly Michael.

This one totally warmed my heart! I am now happy crying, and for that I thank you. Absolutely wonderful way for Michael to go out. His life was always so full of tragedy, so I love that his is the one ending that is completely filled with joy. That part about him calling Guiness was so very Michael, and that very last line put such a huge, goofy grin on my face. Absolutely beautiful! Each and every one of these chapters were incredibly amazing and I won't be able to imagine the endings to these characters' stories any other way. Especially Michael's, because that was too utterly perfect.

i'd love to hear more about what happened during those years! please keep writing :)

Utter perfection. I am now bawling, and I just now figured out that I might be an old romantic sap. That yogurt lid bit really got me. Beautiful. And I'm not even a JAMer.

I just read through the whole story for the first time, and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long! The vignettes were just beautiful, and I really enjoyed each chapter a lot. Well done, my friend, well done! --CH

haha. can you imagine what a 110-year-old Michael would be like? i love that he called Guiness "periodically" b/c that's something that would change! this was a sweet say to end it.

Awwwww. 110 years old, wow.

Wonderful touch to have Pam clutching a yogurt lid. Even though they didn't die together, maybe they'll be buried together? (I found out while doing pre-planning for my Mother with Alzheimers that you can stack 2 people in 1 grave.)
