Poor Karen. I adore Jim Halpert, and I will readily defend him for most things, but there's no doubt that he made some huge mistakes here. Though unlike many 'Office' fans, I think those mistakes were largely understandable and probably inevitable. Jim was beyond heartbroken when Pam turned him down twice. Still, Karen deserved the truth. Her only fault was not being Pam.

Absolutely wonderful! You hit so accurately on all three of them and where they are. I’m a huge fan of all three characters and you did justice to each of them. But, yeah, I appreciate that you respected the hell out of Karen here and completely did justice to her side of things. I absolutely believe this is how it happened. Thank you!!

I really always felt so sorry for Karen. I like Karen as a real person fics because she is a real person and Jim really was a tool, and so this was good.
(but I am more Jim/Pam than Jim/Karen any day. Well, actually, there was about a three week period were I was very Jim/Karen. And then a bit longer when I was Jim/Nobody. But 98% of the time I am Jim/Pam)

I must have missed this the first time through. Probably I was mad at fandom for one reason or another. Anyway, this was great. When you use somebody, you're a tool, and too many stories just let Jim off the hook. Great Karen voice, too. Great story.

This was fantastic! I always did like Karen, though I still love JAM, I think she got effed over. Big time. And you did a wonderful job of making me really feel for her and her situation, and even get a little mad at Jim. Which is hard to do, as JK is pretty much the cutest thing ever invented to me. :)
