I'm handling the hook up with Brian (at least it's not Roy) better than the internet leak... that's going to change the whole dynamic. Who leaked it? Could it be an act of sabotage by Jim on her new relationship w/ Brian? This development will upset the one line of communication that was (sort of) working for them.
Oh! The dorky dancer conversation from this point of view- heartbreaking!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review. You are right, the leak will be important later on. i wonder who did it?

Oooo, interesting twist : )

Aaah! OMG, the Jim/Pam angst! It's yummy, though. But I can't wait for the Jim/Pam fluffiness!
I was kind of shocked that Pam slept with Brian. It seems a little OOC for Pam... I can understand her going home with Roy after the wedding because he's someone she'd been with for so long, and she had a relapse, seeing Jim with Karen and realizing she was alone. And having Roy trying to woo her again was enough to make her want to go back to something she knew, where she wouldn't be alone. But she hasn't known Brian that closely for that long in this story, so it was kind of shocking that she slept with him. But that's what fanfic is all about, right? Saying "what if--".
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response:
Thanks so much for your review and I totally understand what you are saying about Pam and Brian. I tried to paint it from early on that he was there for her and looking out for her, but I know I could have established the relationship better. i thought about having him come to the chatroom as well, but couldn't find a way to make that work.
When I first mapped this out, Pam was going to leave the wedding with Roy, but as I got closer to that point, it just didn't make sense anymore. That's when Brian kind of poked his head up and said, "well...i'm here...use me" and I did :)
As always, I appreciate your comments.

:O
OhMeGosh.
Pam and the Camera Man? (ooh, but I do like how that sounds)
Still, it's wrong. Pam and Jim? Wahay! Bingo. :P
Great chapter. Though, I do feel sorry for Brian. He'll be getting hurt...

GotC, you are killing me, but exquisitely! :-) I;m glad we've not left off the Brian story line, but I am mad that Jim is still with Karen. (completely necessary, of course, and at least Roy is nowhere to be found, but Jim, in this story, is seriously making me want to hurt him, and Jim IRL (to borrow a phrase), has made me root for him at every moment of every episode in all 3 and 1/4 seasons.
And just to say, may the AMPTP never see daylight. I HATE THOSE JERKS.
Author's Response: I hate them too. I totally understand how you are feeling for Jim. I started watching the show in season 3 and I discovered the back story, I alternatley wanted to hug him and punch him. Thanks for your continued reviews!

i'm not gonna lie, if you left this jim with karen, and let pam and brian hook up for good, i would not hate you. but that's just my opinion.

Let me start off by saying this, I really love your stuff, I think you are a very innovative writer and I enjoy how you blend the world of the show and the internet fan community. You always seem to remember the documentary is a huge part of these 'people's' lives.
However I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter, I've been leery of the whole Brian the camera man hook-up since he was introduced, not because of the whole 'but he's not Jim' (that was said in a whiny/pleading voice) but because as a camera man he wouldn't be breaking the fourth wall.
I know it is the nature of AU to warp, but the idea of him repeatedly breaking the fourth wall takes me out of the story. As a camera guy even though he watches there lives he would have very strict instructions not to interfere. In fact he probably wouldn't have been allowed to attend the wedding as a guest. I kind of feel like unless he gets fired in the next chapter this whole arc won't work for me. I see how him as a character plays really well in this world, after all he's seen everything so he provides a new view, but I guess part of me isn't buying it....
I have really enjoyed this story except for this aspect I guess it just frustrates me because I don't think they would be allowed to be so casual. Like I have to imagine that someone else on the crew would give him a warning or something. Maybe it's just me that is bothers, but I'm interested to see how its going to play out...
I don't hate you for this chapter, I guess I just have a few issues with it, not you....
Author's Response:
I totally understand what you are saying about the restrictions on the camera crew. I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that there will be consequences for this and that even though Pam isn't using Brian, someone else is. Thanks for the review and the feedback and I don't mind in the slightest that you had issues with this chapter.

I'm so hooked on this story it's ridiculous. Every time I see an updated I turn into Kelly. "omgomgomgomg!"
I don't hate you at all for this chapter. I like Brian and sort of wanted this to happen. Is that wrong?

You're in timeout if I don't see sunshine, roses, and face-to-face lovin' between these two ASAP.
But take your time, my dear. The wait is so painfully fun it's not even funny. Well done, well done! --CH

Oh how the endings of these chapters tease me so.
I can't wait for the the angst to be gone. But I still crave it because it makes the payoff in happy endings that much better.
BTW I liked the Pam hooking up with the camera guy, nice twist. I think that would be something interesting to see on the show. I mean actually seeing the camera guys.

Ok, ok, I'll only hate you a little for this chapter. The story is so good that I can give you the benefit of the doubt, for a few more chapters at least. :)

Anyway, lovely as always :)

Bravo, bravo! Now if I can just sit tight to wait for the next chapter (doubtful)--don't leave us on the ledge for too long! Lovely writing, as always, and the balance between sultriness and emotion was perfectly maintained. Wonderful! --CH

Just finished reading this installment for the second time because it's that good. How do you do it? It's just so creative and heart-breaking and it sounds so real. Simply great. Anxiously awaiting the next update.
Author's Response: NanReg, you are so kind. I don't know how I do anything, trust me :) I thank you for your review.
