I have been reading this off-and-on at work all day today and now you've got me completely hooked into this storyline. I officially love/hate you right now. Heh. It really is a very engaging story and I love the contrast between the real-life Jim and Pam and the online Jim and Pam. Update this soon. I hate not knowing what's going to happen next! Argh.

I also noticed the emails were the same (and saw you fixed it), but theoretically Jim wouldn't mind using his gmail with Pam because he doesn't know Pam is SweaterGirl, right? But I'll forgive the lapse in realism for the sake of the story :)

jhalpert@gmail.com is the address Pam told TeamJim to create to pretend he was JIM. And they've emailed back and forth with him using that account. I guess it was to a different account of hers, but I can't help but feel like, when she's used to getting stuff from that account from TJ, which she clearly enjoys getting, she would be really likely to notice that this email is from that account.

Jesus, this was a vicious chapter! It's hard seeing them both so ice cold towards each other, but when it's all out in the open there, and everyone's pressing them for more answers, I guess nasty jabs are the best way to keep some self preservation. I wonder why Brian saved that line of Pam's?

The only thing stopping me from crumbling into a sobbing heap on my floor is knowing that Jim and Pam are together now. And you promised some light to come. This is so brilliant. It feels like real people.. almost makes me feel guilty for laughing at the sobbing people on shows like the Bachelor. Almost.

Wow this was way more angsty than I was expecting but it was amazing beyond words.
I don't even know why but when i saw you posted this i had to read this chapter... when i should be working on a paper due tomorrow.
I can't wait for the next chapter... more angst would be good so the (happy? smut filled?) ending will be a good payoff.

This is such a twisty concept - I find myself occasionally getting confused by what they've seen and what they know and what other people know and what they're pretending not to know, but it's so, so good. I'm getting twitchy from all the lies, though, and hope one of them slips up soon! But for the time being it's nice seeing them being themselves with each other in that time in the way they couldn't be on the show to each other's faces.
