A very sweet, endearing story about Jim and Pam's first moments together. You have great attention to detail, making young Jim/Pam believable and realistic characters. You've got a knack for this. Thanks for sharing with me. :) I hope to see you write more in the future.

I went back and finished reading your story (real life must have gotten in the way at the time you were updating). I really love the innocence of this story. And this part... He sat down on a rock overhanging a small spring, letting his feet dangle close to the silent water seeping from the earth below. The tree frogs were still chirping in the distance...Jim had always loved that sound...that transported me back to my childhood. Only the frogs were in the pond. Man, I miss the sound of frogs at night. I used to go out and find a place to sit and stare at the water and think...I could lose a lot of time that way. Anyhow, very nicely done!

aw Poor Jim :(
Kids can be so mean sometimes. I'm intrigued, hope you continue.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the kind comment. I've got a lot in my head right now and hopefully I'll update quicker than a week this time.
And I agree...kids are jerks. Also, most adults are too. Have a nice day, and thanks for reading! :)

I enjoyed the story of young Jim's first crush a lot. Very sweet and touching with the right amoung of angst added to the mix. Young love, how do we ever survive it?
Author's Response: Hey, thanks for reading, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so far!

Interesting start. I like this except for the fact that Pam and Jim aren't together anymore. Maybe he got a cat to keep him company when she left - on a business trip? To go to the store?
Author's Response:
lol, yes, he missed her so after that hour at the store that he replaced her with a cat. I think there'll be plenty more angst coming, although I can say that the ending will be positive. I hope you keep reading :)

What a fun story!
I can hardly wait for them to meet..and maybe kiss?
Author's Response: Thank you! I appreciate that you took time to read and respond. I was going to write another one before I left tonight but I just ran out of gas. I haven't gotten more than 5 hours of sleep in a week...so I'll probably update tomorrow. :-)

this is cute but are pam and jim really separated?
Author's Response: Perhaps. It's too early to say yet how I feel about this story and where it's going.

hmmm, I'm intrigued. Please continue.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed the beginning. I'm planning a fairly long story so we'll see how it plays out. I don't really even know where I'm going yet!
