I love how a common theme is for Jim to worry that Pam's gonna think he's creepy for being so fixated on her for so long. I think its sweet.

This is the second fic that I've read that has "I Wanna be Sedated"! I think it's the perfect "Jim" office song, and I love that you used it.
Lovely story!
Author's Response: Yeah, it does seem strangely appropriate. Thanks for reviewing!

Ten Dundies to you for shouting out Leonard Cohen's "I'm Your Man." That's on my ipod's writing mix that I use when writing my fic, and I think it's a perfect PB&J song. Good choices, and I'm enjoying your story! -CH
Author's Response: Do you have the CD I'm your fan? It's a tribute disk that has a great version of that song Glad you like the story so far - Thanks for reviewing!

I really loved Jim's 'Pam' playlist - I'm going to have to throw those songs together and listen to it myself ;)
Great sales call with Dwight and Jim! I always love when they work together.
Author's Response: I like writing Dwight. I just think of a paranoid vulcan and it seems to come out sounding like him :-D Thanks for reviewing!

Love the mix of old and new song titles. Got misty and angsty just reading them. Like the callback to Travelling Salesmen. You wrote Dwight and Jim perfectly.
Author's Response:
It was really fun to come up with the list. They were all songs I had on my iTunes, which probably means I'm kind of a sap. Thanks for reviewing!

Can't wait until the ending
This should be a real episode
minus the whole "camera crew not following Pam" part. :D
Author's Response: Glad you liked it. I know losing the camera crew was a break in continuity, but I didn't think Pam would show them the play list even if they were there. Thanks for reviewing!

Super excited to see what's on Jim's "Pam" playlist, especially whether it's current or previous ;)
Author's Response: Okay, no pressure here. Thanks for reviewing. I think the playlist will reflect how the relationship has played out over time. Hope you like the picks - ml

Great job with the convo between Jim and Dwight. I liked that Jim was being honest in his feelings but also adding disclaimers so Dwight wouldn't think he and Pam were having problems.
Author's Response: Writing Jim's side of the conversation was hard. I couldn't mention Angela, since Dwight is certain that Jim is clueless about their past relationship. I'm really glad that you liked how it turned out. Thanks for reviewing!

“She made me…wxmychst,” Michael said, mumbling the last part of the sentence. This was so perfectly Michael!
Author's Response: Thanks for mentioning that bit. It made me laugh when I wrote it. It's the small, throw-away bits of the office that make it such fun to watch over and over again. Thanks for the review - ml

I love your song choices! But, a long time ago I remember one of the Beach Boys saying in an interview that "In my room" was actually about ...ummm...you know... self-gratification. :)
Author's Response: Oh...Really? Hmmm. Well then, pretty glad Pam didn't know that. 'Cause that would have been...awkward. See, that's why I like writing for you guys, I learns stuff. Should I put the DeVinyls on Jim's Pam list? Thanks for reviewing.

really cute. I'm enjoying it. I'm curious about the pam soundtrack
Author's Response: Moment of panic here... Only thought about putting in one of two songs, but from the reviews, it looks like i should include a number of tunes. Still, listening to music at work today and thinking of songs, not the worst idea. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Good stuff, I'm invested in this. Although IMO Roy would not have suffieciently good musical taste to appreciate "Thunder Road." More of a Motely Crue fan, I bet. Your take on Pam's reaction is interesting...I guess I would find it suprising that it would hit her so hard to provoke that sort of reaction, but maybe. I know if I were Jim I would NOT be pleased.
Author's Response: Hmmm. Maybe Roy's dad liked the song and Roy grew up hearing it. I could see Roy liking the Crue more than the Cure, but he has pretty good taste in some area. After all, he chose Pam in high school. I know I'm walking a bit of a line with Pam's reaction to seeing Roy, and I thank you for the encouragement and the review!

This is actually very good, and cute. I really enjoyed reading it and to be honest i had a few hand over mouth moments when reading.
Can't wait for chapter 2.
Author's Response: I'm kinda hoping that your hand was over your mouth to stop you from giggling, not because my writing made you ill. Will put up ch 2 as soon as I can. Thanks for reviewing!

This is a promising start- I LOVE Pam's conflicting feelings about Roy. She was with him for so long that they must have been happy, and I can really see how she might have a hard time watching him move on as she's moving on. I really liked that you included that feeling.
Also, Michael toting around a big old boombox with his iPod attached ia a great, silly image!
Author's Response: Glad you liked it. I'm hoping to explore Pam's feelings a bit more in the next installment. Thanks for reviewing
