*sighs in contentment* Oh, that's just lovely--yay for Sara!
Author's Response: Thanks for all the great reviews!

I love do-overs :) This was a great Jim/Pam conversation--you balanced his and her reluctance really well.
Author's Response: Who wouldn't love them, when they involve Jim? Glad you liked it!

YAY! Go Sara go :) I could really see that conversation happening between her & Pam--felt true to Pam's character.

That was wonderful.

Oh, wow! What a great chapter to start the day! I love your blend of sweet/hot.
Author's Response:
Well, sweet and hot seem to be a natural combination for J&P. Thanks!

Yay for Pam finally getting it. And how!
Author's Response: Yeah, I almost called this chapter 'About Time'. Thanks for the feedback.

You build up and resolve the tension wonderfully here. Tentative, brave Pam and overwhelmed Jim- perfect.
Author's Response: Glad you said that - was hoping that arc would come through. Thanks!

Awww... I am a sucker for happy endings. I'm so glad he gave her a do-over...errr, second chance! ;)
Author's Response: Glad you like it...but it's not (quite) finished yet...I think there's one last little bit left in me - though, not another do-over!

I really liked Sara here. Seemed very selfless of her to want to help Jim and to confront Pam in the gentle way that she did. Hope her efforts bear fruit!

I like that Sara was there to shake Pam a bit. Jim needed an advocate for his case. :)
Author's Response: I agree. And I have to say, it was easy to project myself into Sara...as much as I love her, Pam needs a good shaking.

Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Great...more on its way!

I like it! Please continue! (P.S. - "assume" should be "as soon" in Pam's line about halfway through)
Author's Response: Oops - right you are! This is why you should always do that final proof read before posting. Thanks!

I like Sara and what she said. Good job
Author's Response: Thanks!

I loved this chapter, I thought it would be awkward but it wasn't. Especially loved this line - "It was as if Pam somehow recognized Sara as a new variable in the painfully delicate equation she was struggling to maintain with Jim" And the chapter title - awesome.
Author's Response: As always - thanks for the great feedback - and for being such a dedicated reviewer!

I think you struck just the right balance with Sarah.
Author's Response: Phew. Thanks!

I am really enjoying this story so far. I could see Jim with someone like Sara, and it is nice for him to have someone who he could be honest with. Plus, he deserved a little bit of non-tortuous passion in his life. I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: I agree, Jim deserves a little something. So glad you're enjoying the story!

How in the world can Sara let him go? They seem to have so much in common, and seem to care about each other so much.

First - love the title of this. (I'm a closet - well, not so much - Hall & Oates fan.) Second, what a great chapter - very believable. It's also comforting in a way to see him do something like this. Pam needs to find out, damn it. :o)
Author's Response: Very perceptive - I was thinking of that song (though I lost track of that band a zillion years ago.) And re: Pam - she may not find out everything, just what she needs to know...

As usual, just lovely. And it's really an interesting premise, too, because I think we tend to assume that Jim's never been in love before - or maybe we just don't think about it. Off to read chapter 2....
Author's Response:
In my Jim-ology, he's had one serious love affair in his past, years ago...somehow it makes it more poignant for me if he kind of knows what that's like, knows what he's missing with Pam. Also, that she's the only one he's ever fallen for since...and we all know how that's worked out. Anyway, glad you're liking it!

This has turned into the story that I'm most anticipating updates for. Good sign, yes? I'm loving this so much. Jim's reactions in this chapter were so true to character. I cannot wait to see what's next!
Author's Response: That's so great to hear! Thank you! Should be another update soon - totally ignoring my work today...this is so much more fun!
