I love your version of Jim. One of the things I hate seeing is when Jim handles Pam like she's some fragile china doll and will break if he gets too rough with her. Puh-leeze. It's so refreshing that Jim wasn't writing a poem for Pam about the moonlight kissing her hair or both of them thinking about all the angst that happened between them as they're about to get freaky because let's be honest here, Pam is not thinking about Vitamin Store guy and Jim isn't thinking about Princess Pantsuit either. I think that's what I like most about your smut--they get it done and aren't hung up thinking everything out. Major Schrute Bucks for showing the trust that I think they've got in each other and I feel that manifests itself in all aspects of their relationship, especially behind closed doors.

I'm completely dumbfounded and i'm not sure I can write an intelligent review. That was like...really hot but I felt Pam's discomfort and I think that only made it sweeter in the end.

Ahhh, so excited to see this posted! For two reasons, actually: One, to see the reactions (see? Nothing to worry about! Well, except for the mass carnage of making everyone's head explode), and two, so I could read the end! And I love it. Wow. That second to last paragraph -- I want to quote all of it. So sexy (understatement!) but also so intimate on another level. The way they talk to each other, awesome. And then this line really epitomizes that combination and brought the whole thing home:
Underneath you, you can feel her eyes on you, watching you, as her legs squeeze your hips and she says all the words you want to hear and you echo back, always, always.
By the way, I'm pretty sure you've created a monster, now. The people will just keep clamoring for more.... ;)

thirty, I'm so glad to see this because I have a few things I'd like to say. No, I didn't do the coal walk, although writing parts of this felt like it! First, I took every one of your suggestions, I think, and they made this a much, much better story. Thank you for that. I'm so glad you liked the ending! I have to say, I had Pam spread eagle and tied up for awhile there, trying to figure out what Jim would do with her! Poor thing probably got cold! I had some other things in mind, too, but those'll keep for another time. ;)
Doing beta stuff with you has had a big influence on my writing and I wanted to say a public thanks. At first, it was such a challenge because our styles are really so different, but I feel like I've benefitted so much from doing it - I mean, YOU actually asked ME for more?! Can that be right?! I love the concept of Jim and Pam pushing boundries, sexual (YAY!) or otherwise. The beauty of the thing is that they usually go hand in hand, and you've articulated this extremely well.
Jim's obviously (deliciously!) a man, and he's certainly going to have some fantasies that revolve around Pam. Now that he's with her, they won't dissapate, like you said, and he's going to be even more encouraged to push them into reality. And Pam is more than willing to participate.

Holy frijoles...was not expecting that this morning. Need a moment to collect myself. Phew.
Okay. That was hot as a very hot thing. Jim has absolutely been thinking about this stuff for years and he may be a gent, but he's most definitely a BOY first (you know the end of Bridget Jones where she's all ferklempt from kissing him and says something like: Nice boys don't kiss that way and Darcy replies: oh yes they freaking do?)
Love that FNB rises to the challenges - and that just the thought of her dropping her inhibitions/being more self confident, is so uh, stimulating to him. Especially loved the apron one, because it was such an everyday/benign scene that became so erotic. But in the bright light of the kitchen, you know you're stretching the boundaries of her comfort zone...is deeply arousing.Now, that's what I'm talking about.
What makes this so sexy is that the characters don't get obscured by the steam. Nor does the affection (so often when I read really smutty stuff, I think - besides wanting to bump nasties, do these two have any feelings for each other? Their feelings here are implicit, without needing 12 fancy paragraphs to explain them - another scene killer for me. But I digress. ;-)
Will stop before I write another chapter here; but...you know this little gem begs for a sequel with Pam in charge, right? Have to admit, the idea of Jim being on the submissive/helpless side of the equation does have a certain allure. Just saying.... (Okay, so I'm greedy ;-)

And if that doesn't tell you how much action *thumbs* this girl *thumbs* is seeing, then I'll just go ahead and admit that writing this story is the most stimulating activity I've had in quite a while.
Like Jim, I've been storing these ideas up for some time and I think this fic was started 3 or 4 different times, but it was just what you described in your review - two people, gettin' their freak on, with not a lot of identity or affection. So, back to the scrap heap they went. I'm so pleased you think the characters show through - high praise, coming from you.
Your comment about the fancy paragraphs...thank you so much for that. I've fallen a little out of love with flowery prose recently - maybe a result of inflicting so much of it on folks with Allentown and definitely a result of being influenced by other writers here (like you, thirtypercent, nqllisi, unfold) who do so much with so few words. I have great respect for that. </Jim> Also, I couldn't resist a nod to Cooties (see what an impression that image made? I can barely remember story titles, let alone CHAPTER titles) with the shirt off over the head. This time, Pam's the one feeling weak and for totally different reasons!
Sequel? I didn't even realize that the ending to this DOES read like a setup for a sequel. ARGH! I must say, I much prefer InControl!Jim, but something about the way you phrased that...helpless!Jim just became a bit inspirational!

Here's the sitch. My daughter and I got out of seeing "Cloverfield" around midnight. So I turn my Blackberry back on, and whoa! Sweetpea's written a new story. So I click on the link, read the summary, and notice the rating...MA.
At this point, my heart rate picks up with anticipation, but now I've got to frickkin' drive home from the cinema before I can enjoy this. Guess who drove a little over the speed limit??
And that was such a treat, dear. So glad you kept in all in one chapter. I was like, more? Hell, yeah! Totally in character. Jim's been thinking up these fantasies for years, and I love how Pam's new courage manifests itself in their sex life. It's all a testament to their great love and full trust in each other. Truth is, because it's a network show, we'll never know what their sex life is really like, but I don't think this is out of the realm of normal, healthy stuff at all. I couldn't agree more (obviously!) that Jim's a healthy, red-blooded man, and I'm sure he has a very healthy imagination, too. All those years spent just watching and dreaming of Pam...yeah, he's got a whole boatload of ideas stored up. I left some of my, um, edgier fantasies in Philly, but I'm glad these don't seem out of character.
I loved writing sexy, confident, and slightly smug Pam. You're so right...nothing sexier than confidence and I usually think of that in male references, but it's so true for Pam.
