Oooh, fun and interesting take! I can't wait for more! I usually hate Pam/Ryan because it's all like Ryan's somewhat in control, and I love love LOVE that here, he absolutely isn't!

I like how you almost incidentally worked in the actual situations from Initiation, but re-imagined them to fit your story. Also I think you've struck the right note with the Pam/Ryan relationship - Pam not quite being all-in, her slightly sardonic tone about 'them' - and how that throws him off his game (his attitude about Jim is spot-on for how I think Ryan felt about him.) Really looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

When I first saw this I got really confused thinking it was the story by GodInThisChilis. But anyway, this is awesome. I can definitely buy it. I'm always a little skeptical when Ryan as anything but a jerk, but I don't think he has to be that way, I think it's all a matter of circumstance. Can't wait for more!
