i loved this. I would have never thought Toby and Kelly would work together, but it was great. Poor Kelly and oh my, poor Toby. You captured both of them perfectly. excellent!

That was just...I don't know.
I am now and forever a Kelly/Toby fan. That was just spectacular.
And I don't really LIKE Toby very much, as a charcter, but I love him with Kelly.
Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Kind of makes me mad at everyone for being so passive about the Michale-Toby dynamic. But this was awesome, and I believed it. I'm convinced that this happened!

This was such a touching look at Toby. I always feel so badly when Michael is so mean and no one ever sticks up for him. I liked that Kelly was so honest in her comments to him and that they were able to get over the awkwardness of their make-out session. Great job!

This is so, so good. I find it so touching that Kelly actually acknowledges that Toby takes such beatings from Michael and no one stands up for him, even though they consider him a friend. And it's a very, very good question - why *don't* they? And her still being unable to stand up for him, even after realizing that and spending this evening with him, says so much. And I also love her realization that he's broken - Kelly doesn't come off as very insightful on the show, but it's very believable here and I love that she shows such empathy. The ending is very bittersweet and believable.

I really liked this. The dialogue and characterization the whole way through was so good, but Kelly's moment of realization was perfect. The whole story was so insightful and bittersweet.

wow. I am so sad now. I do love toby and I totally think he's stealth handsome. you really did a great job getting them both just so perfect. now I want to find me a whole bunch of kelly/toby stories to read!
