Whoa -- that is genius, using the mythical Christmas card to explain how deep things ran for Jim -- and for so long, that he didn't see how Pam could have thought they were out of the blue.
Meet me halfway, Pam. Ask me how I feel about you and I know I can find the courage to tell you. If you can’t do that, I hope you can pretend that you never read this. That just made me melt. Whoa. You hit on just the right balance between Jim's bravery and fear.
Glad to see you writing & posting again! I know you have a lot of stories going & you are helping to make the long wait for the new episodes bearable.

Oh my!
I just discovered this story of yours and what an incredible read. I love that you delve into the effect of the documentary on Jim and Pam. It allows us to see them from a different angle.
Sooo looking forward to the next chapters.

Poor Jim. I do not blame him for wanting to just cut the ties and move on, but how can he? You can't just stop loving someone. You really have a good grasp on these chracters.

I KNEW IT! I think this is a really good way for her to tell him some things that he might not be willing to listen to otherwise. Very creative!

That's true about Jim; I think Biggest Fan is right on the money. That's why we all love him. I wonder what he'll do know, because I know he isn't really happy. I'm really enjoying this fic so far.

Wow, it would be really hard to have your most intimate and embarrassing moments played on TV like that. I am wondering about this bigest fan...I have an idea, but I'm not going to say yet!

What a perfect way to end this chapter. Love the little network of receptionists. Oh, it needs a lot of smuff. I'm a smuff whore. Bring it.

OMG! Ok, I love that you put a stake in the heart of the PLoD.
Next squee: OMG! The Xmas card!!!!!
And yay for Pam just jumping in with her 'fire-walk' speech, er, sort of.
(And we need a lot of smuff -- there's still a month to go before we get to see new episodes. You can put it in a separate chapter if you fear it will offend the delicate sensibilities of, er, someone).

What a wonderful way to end the chapter. I can't wait to see what he wrote in the mysterious Christmas card. I love all your work, and am just so thrilled when I see you've updated.

Ok, I never review. I know, bad reader. But um... how much smuff does it require? Tons. Tons. I live for smuff. =) Of course, I did just get done watching the rerun of Money... so that may have something to do with it...

Crap. HOLY CRAP. GiTC, not only do you floor me with a kickass wonderful parking lot scene, but you end it by resurrecting the Christmas card? You know what I'm about to say, as it's old hat by now, but who cares, I'll shout it from the rooftops: You slay me. And what a way to go.
I love this: "On most days, she could see ghosts of themselves still clad in shiny blue dresses and dress-sweaters haunting that spot, reluctant to leave until the events of that night were put right."
But then I love anything you write. This is just lovely; bravo for another fabulous chapter! ---CH

Wow, what a shot of adrenaline after the angsty stories I've been reading for the most part lately (not that angst is bad or anything...)! This story is amazing, and I'm most definitely looking forward to reading what happens at the fan club meeting and beyond!

That letter was perfect. I can't wait to read more.

So yeah, that pretty much killed me. My mouth was wide open for the last half of this chapter--at first I thought the letter was going to be anonymous, but then BOOM. First person with DETAILS? Did not expect that.
Thank you for socking me in the jaw, GiTC. As you know, I love it every time. Can't wait for more! --CH
