I love this. I love that Karen got herself out of the mess before anyone got too badly hurt. She deserved to have this kind of power over her own fate.

Very nice. Think how easy it could have been? And then Karen and Pam could have been friends. Ah, well. I do like Karen here a lot.

“Yeah, well, I’d try act like it wasn’t a big deal too if a guy who’d told me he loved me when I was engaged to someone else came to be later and told me he had a girlfriend.”
I really think it would have gone this way if Karen had only known earlier what was truly going on.
PS I think you meant to say "me" where I highlighted above..

"But tonight…tonight he had been adorable beyond endurance."
I loved Karen's reaction to the drunken adorableness that was Jim - including the X-rated thoughts. (But I'm still glad he answered the phone...)

You're two for two, BaraJam. Of course Karen would be inuitive, being in sales, and I like the way she pushes Jim. Great job. Now give me another fix!

I love what you're doing with these scenarios! And I really like how sympathetically you've portrayed Karen.

Oh, what a great way for Pam and Jim to reconnect! I loved Karen in this (though I just plain love Karen). Great job!

Really love this one too. I like the way you write Karen, she wants Jim but at the same time she realizes that she can't have him. Loved this line: Jim Halpert might be single, but he was definitely, completely unavailable. and the part where she says, "Yeah, well, I’d try act like it wasn’t a big deal too if a guy who’d told me he loved me when I was engaged to someone else came to be later and told me he had a girlfriend.” Oh, and when she realizes that Jim probably didn't have anyone to talk to about this, so she's the one who listened to him. So yeah, I really did like Karen. Heehee. =)

Awww. I'm a Karen fan and I loooved this story. Drunk!Jim is just the cutest. I really do wish Pam would have texted him again...or that Jim would have responded.

Oh how I wish things had really turned out this way! But I guess that's why we have great fanfic like this. Can't wait to read more.

This is very good and I can believe the characters might act this way. Really enjoyed this!

I like your version much better than what we saw on TV. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Hoping you don't mind a JAM fan review: LOVED IT.
Author's Response: Of course not! I hear t all reviews. I just wanted to ask those with a natural predisposition to Karen to let me know what they thought of my take on her.
