Wow. I felt a stab at my heart when Jim realizes he made her cry. I absolutely love it.

I love that. Pam and Jim are MFEO -- both broody, self-loathing actors who have forgotten who they really are underneath.

Oh, I love self-destructive Jim. I see a glimmer of emo-Jim we see in the drunk-in-Australia fic. And the cold way Dish-Soap Dawn dispatches him is sort of fitting.

I don't even know what to say to you anymore! This is the perfect story for the countdown to April 10th - a little of our favorite characters with a great twist away from the cameras. I'm sure this is a nice change of pace for you after writing How It Falls and it's a delightful change of mood for me to read, too.

OHhhhhhhhh alternate reality Jim!! You are so tortured and angry...and sexy! I cannot wait! to see what kind of crazy conversation these two have! And while I know logically that people talk with their tongues, I hope Jim's and Pam's make a special appearance when it comes down to discussing the tension between them! Awesome, and once again, I'm TOTALLY hooked!

I'm loving this story. It is so different than the other stories on this website. I love that they like/hate each other. I can't wait to see where this goes.

What an intriguing premise - like meta on meta with a side of meta ;-) I'm often skeptical of 'high concept' fics, but you're really making this work, maybe cause the characters are enough like 'themselves' on the show to be recognizable, yet also not. Very interesting how Jim, the ultimate likable, easy in his skin guy (well, other than S3 pod boy) is so full of self-loathing and doubt here. His wit is intact, but he's so lost. Great sense of growing sexual tension between them too. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

I am so intrigued by this story. Love that Jim isn't actually the asshole Pam seems to think he is, but he still doesn't think he's good enough for her. Meanwhile, she's kind of a bitch too, huh? This has so many delicious possibilities! Can't wait to see where you take it!

this doesn't make sense and yet i LOVE it. your "jim" and "pam" are crafted extremely well. i'd love to know more about the other cast members. i get that it's approaching Real Life and i love that. although do you really think that jkras is such a d--k? pardon my french. still i love this and i hope to see you continuing to push the envelope!

What a fantastic, creative, original concept. It's a great reminder that we really don't see everything, and we really are seeing it only from the viewpoint of the camera. It puts a whole new spin on the entire show. I can't wait to read more.

Wow, this is impressive. I fully didn't expect to like this because I'm usually not a fan of AU's this extreme, but I saw that it was yours and there were many reviews. I've read it and I'm hooked. Can not wait to see how this goes. The characters are just different enough that they won't be too predictable, but they are still the same. I'm impressed that you got me to like it.

This is so unbelievably awesome. I love whenever someone busts out a story that has 100% never been done before, and this story certainly fits that criteria. And there is nothing I love more than angry hate love, so yessss. I can't wait for more.

Stablergirl, I must tell you that I kinda like this to. In fact, I kinda love it. This is so fantastic! As usual, your writing is beautiful and intricate, and I especially love the complexity of this story. The parallels and annomalies you're drawing from the actual show are very funny and lovely - like Ryan's hero worship of Jim, Toby's leather jacket-wearing always-on-his-phone character, Kelly...being Kelly, Pam and Jim's outward hostility towards eachother. I adore they way you're writing "the real" Pam in this - she's funny, warm, sassy, and definately has a backbone. I love her line about wanting a man who isn't "handsome". And Jim. The womanising, drinking, smoking, angst-filled, snarky, charasmatic, desperately wanting, self depricating version of "the real" Jim is (for want of a more eloquent word) hot. Incredibly hot. The tension between Pam and Jim is palpable, and wonderfully engrossing. I really enjoyed reading Jim's POV this chapter and I can't wait for more of this story!

This is fantastic, I love stories that show the fine line of love & hate. And 3 chapters already up for my perusal, extra fantastic. But you know, when you raise expectations by updating quickly, people get cranky when you don't. :-)

So I missed the first two chapters of this somehow but boy am I glad I dove in for the third! Yeah, it does closely resemble crack!fic, but it's really REALLY good crack!fic.
I kind of love this idea that these two people aren't exactly who we see every Thursday but somehow, somehow they are still drawn to eachother -- even if they deny it, even if they can't admit it to themselves. It makes a strange sort of cosmic sense, don't you think?
Anyway, I'm SO intrigued by this story and the little hints of true feelings starting to seep through that I can't wait to see where you take this and when the walls will start coming down. Most excellent!

I am really enjoying this story. So different. Like everyone else, didn't know what to expect, but this is really believable.
