Quite like the idea here, especially 4 and 5. Well done.

I figured it was now safe to come in here. Heeee. Adorable. All of them are so plausible.
Author's Response: HA!! Yeah that Jenna had us in a frenzy all right. It was the only way I could keep from crying. Glad you liked it. :)

Both of these sets of Five Things were wonderful. Here's hoping any of your suggestions for Roy's ring were true! And the different proposals are so sweet. I love - <i>love</i> number 5.
And I hope this isn't a review faux-pas, to do two in one place, but I followed the link to "Beginnings" and adored that too. It was lovely.
Author's Response:
Thanks Semby. #5 does hold some kind of appeal no?
And no faux-pas at all. Any place I can find out someone enjoyed what I wrote is A-OK with me. :)

Oh wow. I love those - every single one. I think the last one is my favorite....but I also have a soft spot for the first one from your earlier fic. These were terrific!
Author's Response: Thanks!!! And Beginnings is my fave of all the fics I've written I think. So not what's going to happen - but the one I carry in my head on bad days. LOL!

I'm too pure to read section one (which seems like a ridiculous thing to write, considering the smutfic I've read on this very site!), but this? This is lovely. I think I like number four the best- I can see the look on his face as he watches her, all lit up by the lights on the tree and grinning up at him. *sigh*
Author's Response: I can see them all actually in my mind. Even the Vegas one - because I'd love for them to be at a point where they were going to do it anyway and got so caught up that it was over before they even knew it. But I have a soft spot for Christmas myself....and I'm so glad that image came across - because that's exactly the way I saw it myself.

So cute! Loved them all, especially #5. Short and to the point, and totally how I could see it happening. And PS, you are SUCH a liar ;)
Author's Response:
I would love love LOVE it if Pam turned the tables. I hope that comes out in S3 - because it would be a blast to be able to write her like that and have it be in character.
And I don't lie - per se. I just fib occassionally. ;)

Incredible! As always:) Really enjoyed this!
Author's Response:
Just me - being silly. Glad you liked it. :)

So cute! I love the Christmas one, probably because it's my favorite time of year!
Author's Response: Mine too!! Glad you liked it!

Author's Response:
...and short. ;) Thanks Shan!

Number Five's my favorite!
Author's Response: Mine too!!! :) Thanks!

Number five is my favorite. Short and sweet, and Pam needs to step up a little. Plus I can imagine the shock and joy on Jim's face, and it's an attractive thought.
Author's Response: Number five was the first one I thought of. And it's my favorite too. Can't you just see it???

Loved this all 5 of them.
Author's Response: I'm glad!! Thanks!

I'm in love with #4. Just LOVE.
Author's Response: Hee! Thanks! I'm kinda fond of that one myself.

haha! that was great... hope it's reason #5 :)
Author's Response: HA! Wouldn't that be something??? LOL!

Oh wow, this is JUST what I needed! I CANNOT believe that they will be married in the premiere. In fact, I refuse to believe that! If I have to forget the show and just read fanfic to get my happy JAM, then damnit, I'm going to do it!!! Lol, I'm really hoping that there's some huge twist or that the ring was a foiler....who knows?
Author's Response:
OMG. ME EITHER. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Torture I tell you. TORTURE. :)
Date: September 12, 2006 05:41 pm Title: Roy
First of all I love your work. You are truly talented. Thank you for sharing your pieces. :)
Second of all - in regards to the spoiler - something tells me (despite signs to the contrary) they are not married. I don't know. It may be denial but I keep thinking of something I read once. Jenna said in an interview in March that she doesn't want Pam to ever be divorced because she wants her to "only ever marry Jim" and she recently said the premiere was "good news." So either the writers are simply THAT good to convince Jenna to change her mind or ... They're not married. Take the above with a grain of salt but - in any case - I'm holding on to that until proved wrong. ;)
Author's Response:
Wow Meghan - thank you so much!! It always makes me smile when someone is kind enough to take the time to tell me they enjoy what I write.
RE: the "spoiler" I know. I'm right there with you. I've seen that interview and now that I've watched all the bonus features on the Season 2 DVD I am even more convinced she couldn't have married Roy. There is so much more about Jim and Pam that we didn't get to see - and the way Jenna and John talk about some of the scenes (that in The Secret - he hated breaking Pam's heart when he said he was over her and how she left the room crying) makes me even more sure they can't have her still end up with Roy. It's going to be torture - but I guess we just have to wait and see.

Awesome new #5!!! And good for Madge, eh?
Author's Response: Good for her indeed. Heeee! Thanks Shan!

It's good to laugh to help break up the heartbreak I've been feeling most of the day. Thanks, hugs! (And way to work around the rules and still get the same great outcome!)
Author's Response:
Hell. I'd marry him myself before I have him marry Pam.
That beard is hot. LOL!
Date: September 11, 2006 05:15 pm Title: Roy
hehe, very cute krissy! definitely attempts to ease the mind.
Author's Response: Yeah - except it also breaks the rules. :( What do you think now???
Date: September 11, 2006 05:15 pm Title: Roy
Hah. My favorite is definitely the last one.
Author's Response: Mine too - but it blurred real life and fanfic a tad too much. I still think #5 can work as it is now. LOL!
Date: September 11, 2006 04:53 pm Title: Roy
You clever girl. Very witty and fun and a creative way to diffuse the photo-related anxiety to boot. (I think the whole ring thing is an inadvertent red herring, btw...but what do I know?)
Author's Response:
Heee! Glad you liked it.
Date: September 11, 2006 04:35 pm Title: Roy
Awesome, darlin'! But I have to insist on a revision. Watch your inbox for an email about #5.
Love love love #4 ;)
Author's Response:
<Head hanging in shame>
How do like #5 now???
Date: September 11, 2006 04:05 pm Title: Roy
loved all of these :) #2 made a little dent in my heart, then #3-5 made me laugh out loud. loved the combination of all of them together!
Author's Response:
I hope you still like #5 - cause I had to make a change. LOL!
Sort of like Jenna having to go back and crop the picture.
