I am in love withe bittersweet vibe to this, that everything might turn out okay but the road might be rocky and it won't be perfect. This seems so in character, something that would definitely happen to these two. Jim's going to start coming out of his cocoon soon, I think, and once Jim does something he goes all the way. Nice work!
Author's Response: thanks man! yeah, i kind of like it ugly. i do believe they will be together, but i don't believe it'll ever be easy - because that's just real. if this was ugly betty (which i love, don't get me wrong), maybe things could end up pretty rosy, but since it is the office, made of 100% realness, there's only one way for jim and pam, at least to me. aaaaand that was way too much.

I know its going to be angsty.... must brace myself.
Its totally realistic that this could happen, and it makes it all the more painful. I love that they are both following their dream. But, is it really their dream when it separates them. Makes me sad.
And they have a kid.
Its true. Real life is never as easy as TV makes it seem, eh?

Wow...this was so good! I love the whole situation of them being in different parts of the country trying to achieve their dreams together- but apart. Very bittersweet and I loved the changing perspectives, too :)

I really liked this. I liked how they had problems but that they still stuck together. Even if they only ended up working through their issues because Pam got pregnant, it felt realistic. Plus, Henry and George are great names.
Author's Response: i give all of myself to my fics. so yes - george and henry are my potential baby names - but i could see jim & pam being into them too :) i wish i'd tweaked this a bit, now that you say that about pam being pregnant. i can see how it would look that way. my intention was that what really fixed them was their being together again. knowing how to make time for each other again. i believe that would save them. if anything - i think kids start more problems for couples. in any case, it makes my heart feel good that i didn't break them up :)

This is so real and true I like how they go through a hard time but they come out of it strong and are ultimately happy. You wrote this beautifully.
Author's Response: thank you so much! i really got a kick out of writing this. and as much as i wanted to crack jam in half, i didn't have the heart. plus i am a big believer that all rships go through huge ups and huge downs and i wanted to give that to them. thanks for the feedback!

This is real love, so beautifully written. I love the format and the switching perspectives and I love to think of them in it for the duration, even though it may not always be perfect. Really nice.
