Just lovely. My favorite part? Pam blurting out that she knew Jim's number in Stamford. A perfect post-Chair Model story. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. That part about the Stamford number has actually been floating around my head for a while, just waiting for a story to settle in.rnThanks for reading :)

Wow, that was just perfect, the voices, the tone, everything. I think this is the backstory BJ Novak had in mind when he wrote Jim' talking head about buying the ring. Really wonderfully done, a joy to read. Thank you for this.

This is just beautiful. Exactly how I imagine it was for them, with the gradual blurting out of secrets and the easy forgiveness. And the last few paragraphs are so well-written, they almost sing. I love that Jim was thinking he was right to wait for this - I imagine that's pretty much what he's thinking. Great job!

Simply beautiful. Such gorgeous imagery and language. The whole thing was fantastic, but the last paragraph just killed me. You get them--and that paragraph, the simple light you paint their relationship in, as everything, proves that. Awesome!

This is so beautiful and calm. I love imagining Jim/Pam the way you've written them here.

This is so sweet. I really liked the imagery and in-depth look at their relationship.
