You have such a way with words! I absolutely loved this chapter, loved the conflict and the confusion, loved Mark and Josh for their kindness with Jim, and finally loved Pam for making the right choice. Can't wait to read how it all plays out.

Shit. That was a fucking great line at the end, there. And I don't usually curse so much, especially in reviews, but wow. I just love that so much; I don't know why. And how perfect that he calls her his girlfriend, once again. This story is amazing.
Just one question. Is Jim supposed to be leaving for Australia on the same day as the wedding? Because he should be leaving two days before the wedding. Maybe I'm misreading, but it threw me off a little. Even if the dates are a little off, this is fantastic. Really. I haven't read anything quite like it before, and your style of writing is wonderful. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

oh so good in that painful, painful way. i haven't seen aanyone use this scenario before--one where pam returns the kiss, recognizes the attraction, then tells jim to go away for the sake of her marriage.
love the way you wrote them, in turns sweet, bitter, hurt, sarcastic--it felt so true to life.
