This was such a great story. I loved all the little insights into Jim's mind, especially since he and Pam are together. I also loved the part where they decided not go take it slow anymore. I assumed the half date was when they went back to one of their places and did the horizontal rumba? ;o) Great job!

Awww, I love it. It's really adorable. I hope in the real show Pam realizes that Jim didn't propose to her because Andy had stolen his moment.
Author's Response: Thanks, JamFan4! I'm hoping so, too. I was hoping that we'd get a deleted scene that indicated this, so that we can all rest easy this summer, but so far, no go.rnthanks for reading!

"The tiny bearded tyrant of Dunder Mifflin". You should win a medal for that :)
This was a wonderful fic. It tugged at my heartstrings, and I can't thank you enough for ending it on a happy note... I've been needing something like this ever since the finale. And I really liked how you had Toby strike a chord with Jim -- I love the idea that Roy and Jim and Toby all have these parallels, all being pining after the same woman. In particular I always thought that Jim, more than anyone, must know exactly how Toby feels. And, of course, the stuff of Jim buying a ring was just squee-worthy adorable. I eagerly await more of your work!
Author's Response: Your review is so nice, cloudyskies. I just blushed a little. Thanks! I have kind of a sequel mapped out in my head, but it may take a few days to actually make it to my fingers to type it out. I'm still new at this fic thing, so I can't crank them out like some of the pros! Thanks again for reading.

Awwwww! That was really sweet. I liked it a lot. Also, four grand for a 1.5 ct solitaire diamond with excellent clarity set in platnium? What a bargain! At that price he should have bought two :)
Author's Response: I know, I know, lol. I spent an unusual amount of time researching cost for a ring of this type, but ultimately decided to keep it within Jim's paper salesman budget. Two months' salary last forever, depending on commission :-) Thanks for reviewing, NiceJammies!

I really liked that you made Jim sympathetic to Toby. Toby has been sort of creepy lately, but I don't think Jim would get all "Roy" on him. I especially liked this:
Jim watches Meredith take a picture of Toby with Pam, then two, then three, and realizes that he can sympathize with the guy in a kind of twisted way. He wonders if this is what Roy used to feel like -- watching from a distance while some other guy tried in vain to woo Pam away from him.
Anyway, very nice glimpse into Jim's head.
Author's Response: Thanks, Wendolf! This is my first foray into Office fic, so I'm happy to see it well-received :-)
