Oh, how lovely. I especially enjoyed the Highlights comments and the detail about the seats being all messed up - because it's so true! Please keep updating.

yup, Claire (that's me), the famous procrastinator actually did finish her homework. i'm usually a perfectionist, so if i give myself less time to get something done then i usually work quicker, with fewer breaks, thus getting more done than i would with more time. did that make any sense?
and about the reviews, it was my pleasure reading, really. just keep going!

So glad you're updating again! This was just the little break I needed today. Now I get to go back to finishing things up before I leave this job in ... five more work days!
Love the little detail about the mother covering her child's ears after Pam's comment about getting to sleep with the boss. And her reaction to Jim's "conceived in sin" comment. I think that's a very Pam-like ambivalence.
More please!

Kestrel, I remember you and this fic quite well, and I'm happy you're both back :)
They had begun to drive each other’s cars on occasion, which meant that the seats were never quite in the right position anymore. It was frustrating, true, but these mundane little signs of domesticity made him feel a little giddy. Like he was slipping into the comfortable shoes of Jim Halpert, husband and father. That makes me giddy! Also, “Don’t you want out baby to grow up wild and free on a beet farm?” Ha! Awesome : D So glad that you were inspired to write this. Don't be a stranger, OK?
Author's Response: NanReg!! I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this :). I'm definitely going to try to update more often, and thanks for leaving a wonderful review as always.

Oh I like this! Thanks for updating! Don't be away so long next time! :-) Those names that Michael came up withfor co-manager...all kinds of awesome.
Author's Response: Hopefully I can update a bit more often as the season progresses. And I had so much fun coming up with those names...thanks for sticking with me!

Author's Response: Hahaha I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the review :)

wow, that was so touching, i love how this went from serious, to silly, to playful, then romantic. fantastic. keep going! i can't wait for an update!
crap, i still have to do homework. darn.
Author's Response: Oh my goodness, I've been reading through all your lovely, lovely reviews - it means a lot that you took the time to review each chapter! But I hope you still managed to finish your homework? Thank you so much for the positive feedback :).

okay, forget this was my favorite silly chapter yet, i loved the pet names, and the shoes in the middle of the room. it's kind of nice to have a chapter that isn't so essential to the plot just as a quick, cute filler. great job!
sorry if it was rude i called this a filler. i don't mean it in a bad way, but i'm too lazy to delete it. sorry!
Author's Response: Oh, and that's not rude at all! It was most definitely a filler...I don't work with too much plot in these little phone conversations, and this one especially was meant to be just light and easy.

i loved the serious part about pam talking about roy. very well done with that bit!

lucky you i seriously can't reading. i wonder what mr. monroe would say if i told him that's why i couldn't write my audit letter... hmmm

definitely up there. great job with this one kestrel! i think i'm going to make myself stop reading for a bit and finish homework, but i'll read before i go to bed!

Funny enough - I was just re-reading this story on the bus today on my way back from New York. Fabulous to see a new chapter! Great work!
Author's Response: I'm glad I can help make the bus ride that much shorter :). Thanks so much for the review.

i think i've read this chapter before, but so what, i love it to pieces.
and i laughed so hard when i read the artist for the song. anne barnard, i thought you were talking about andy bernard. lol!

you are my absolute favorite everything for writing this perfect story. how do you write so realistically????? even if you gave me a piece of that talent (which i am so jealous of) you'd still write perfect stories. now i'm just mad.
but this chapter was fantastic, i just love the plot of these, sweetie. (i love that she calls him that!)
Date: September 28, 2009 08:26 pm Title: And This is Why My Eyes are Closed
i want, no scratch that, need a jim halpert. he is so darn good to pam. and yes, there was a double meaning to that.
(that's what she said!) lol

YAY! Kestrel is back!!
I don't suppose Pam will allow the cameras to follow her to the OB-GYN, huh? I suppose we should be happy we got the ultrasound.
I hope S6 inspires more from you. Nicely done!
Author's Response: It's lisahoo!! And who knows...all sorts of magical things can happen in the fanfic universe. Thanks for the review :).

that was so beautiful, and i'm not in a silly mood anymore. that was just so beautiful, i love how clearly you showed their love for each other in this chapter. amazingly well done. i'd give you a 12/10 if i could. maybe a 16 since that's my favorite number.
Date: September 28, 2009 08:15 pm Title: So I Would Choose to be with You
you are not cheesy, this is incredible! i absolutely love this, i'm dead serious.
very realistic dialog!!! and all together great idea for this story, i'm so glad you continued, and i can't believe i hadn't discovered this sooner.
nice bit about the halpert babies, i though i'd made that very clear. lol!
sorry if i don't review for a bit, i'm just taking a quick break from stupid homework and don't have much time.

Wow, I just read this all in one sitting for the first time and it is so lovely. Funny, sweet, well written, what a pleasure to read. Thanks!

I absolutely love this! Another fabulous chapter that sounds just like I hope their off-screen convos go. I love that Jim practiced the "honey" and it still didn't come off right. Just pitch perfect!
Date: October 27, 2008 04:48 pm Title: Until they found me
I REALLY liked this chapter. I've played their whole terms of endearment conversation in my head, and this chapter was exactly how I thought their conversation would go. Does that even make any sense?
I'm shutting up now.

I loved this chapter. Loved the banter back and forth about their nicknames. Great job.

“Or they might turn out to be wild-haired midgets.” Heee :) Love this happy JAM banter! The thought of Jim practicing pet names is very cute.
Author's Response: Yay! My NanReg review arrived! Happy JAM banter makes the world go 'round. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and review. You're awesome. :D.

ITA, Kestrel -- most of the pet names sound completely wrong coming from Pam & Jim. Love them fighting like an 'old married couple' already, and Jim's shoes being the size of the furniture.
Procrastinate away, dear.
Author's Response: Oh, lisahoo. It's so nice to know I'll always hear your thoughts on my little scribbles. And yes, it's always been so odd to me that such an affectionate, playful couple would be so completely unsuited for pet names. Thanks for sticking with me, love. :D.
Date: October 27, 2008 06:25 am Title: So I Would Choose to be with You
This is completely adorable. There's not a single line in there that doesn't ring true to Jim and Pam.
*applauds*
Author's Response: Thank you so much! If there's one goal I have, it's to keep this completely in character - and your validation means so very much. *takes a bow*
