You amaze me, unfold. How are you able to do this--to take something a few years old and make it seem new? This, in particular, struck me as such a vivid image: He tilts his head back to look at her upside down face after he says it. She’s staring blankly ahead and just nods. She feels him looking at her though and her eyes flick down to his, sticking there for a moment. He turns his head back almost instantly, not liking how much he feels in that single instance.

I love how subtle but laden the language is here. So many beautifully phrased, simple details that imply so much about what they're feeling, like: the positioning is awkward and she has to lean over a bit to even reach his hand or but suddenly her face is hovering above him or finally - and absolutely gorgeously: the words coming out in a cloud. And the final two words kind of say everything. Hopeful, but not tied up in a neat little package.

Wow! Really interesting. She's making the first move there, by holding his hand. While I approve of this BoozeCruisePam, I'm not sure I've ever met this particular BoozeCruisePam. I definitely like her, though. Also the "Yeah" and the fingers tightening.
Nice job. This might be one that sort of sticks with me for a while, one that I keep thinking back on.
