This is one of the best fics I have read in a very, very long time.

I am not eloquent enough to tell you how much I loved this. Honestly, one of the best things I've read in awhile. From top to bottom this was entertaining and insightful and sexy as all get out. Jim thinking to himself "I have your ring" over and over again...just perfection. I've always wanted to know what that early time would have been like for them especially after he had the ring. This feels so true to the characters.
Author's Response: Thank you, LoveFool. I'm so glad you liked it.

I loved it. I am a sucker for a good Jim POV, which is a double edged sword for me, because when Jim feels off in fic from his pov it can ruin an otherwise good fic for me, but your Jim is so, so perfect. I noticed that in Better Version of Me, but I especially like it here. I like the way you drew a good picture of what Jim was like in bed vs what he was like in bed his first time with Pam and then, as he got used to her, the way he sort of fell back into his instincts. This comment is getting rambly, but I just loved that. Too often, I think people try to compensate for this almost asexual version of Jim we get on the show by turning him into either a) a sex god who has been waiting to awaken Pam with all of his mad skills or b) someone who's never been that into sex...but now he has Pam, so bring on the kink....It's extremely flat and it's extremely boring, but this is...God this is perfect. Write more. Definitely write more.
Author's Response: You bring up some good points, jamband. First off, I love good Jim POV fic, too, but there's not a lot of it out there. Granted, it's *hard* to write (this took me about two weeks of second-guessing and editing), but it's not *that* hard. And it seems to me that anyone who writes a version of Jim that resembles either a or b above has never really interacted with a slighty geeky 28-year-old guy. There's just too much dork there for sex god to be believeable, and too much - well, too much being a 28-year-old guy for disinterest in sex to many any sense at all. Many thanks for your comments.

SMUT! LUST! LOVE! Perfect combination. This is a wonderful story. I am pretty sure that Jim and Pam could not keep their hands off of each other in the beginning. You wrote Jim's feeling w/ so much emotion and passion.

Um, yeah. That was a hell of a week. Not coherent enough to write a decent review, but wow. I love how totally googly Jim is for Pam. Just freaking insane. And how they both get a bit bold together (especially after how nervous they are at first). Shazam!
Just reading how Jim is thinking about how he wants to be married to Pam and how he buys that ring that Saturday is almost as good as the actual proposal. Almost. You rock my face off, Talkative.
Author's Response: Lisahoo, I was reading through my reviews in the campus computer lab this morning and I'd just like to thank you for making me laugh like a headcase with "You rock my face off." Isn't it kind of hard to compose feedback sans face? Are you okay?!

One of my favorite fics ever...one of the great "getting into Jim's head" jobs I've ever read, and full of so many great details, and just so so so damn good in every possible way.

Wow! Lush. Gorgeous. Sexy. Romantic. Superlative.
Yes. Give us Pam's week!
Author's Response: I'll make you a deal: You keep writing Cardiac Care, and I'll let Pam talk. Okay?

Sigh. Guess I'd better stop rereading this and write a review, damn it. But what can I say, besides the fact that it's perfect? That I love it to pieces? That you and this story are going right into my favorites?
I've always loved Jim POV fics, especially "first time" fics. The boy is just so crazy for her, it's wonderful to see your take on that first week together. How all the fantasies he's carried around for years are fulfilled. How he immediately feels the permanent connection to her and needs to go with that feeling and buy a ring to cement that committment in his mind. Of course he's carrying the ring around everywhere with him, just like in that LJ picspam that was posted after "Chair Model". What a relief it must have been to hear Pam say "I love you." Phew!
The hottest part of this fic though, was the following:
"And I like - that. Your voice."
"Oh?"
"Uh-huh. It - helps."
Dirty, sexy talk from Halpert. Who doesn't love that?
Feel free to write more fic. You have these two down pat and I'd love to read more stuff from you.
Author's Response: "Dirty, sexy talk from Halpert. Who doesn't love that?" Crazy people, that's who! Thanks for your feedback, EverybodyHurts. rnrn

So this is what you had up your sleeve that needed a little tweaking, eh? Between this and A Better Version of Me, you have brought fic to a whole new level. I really don't know what else I can say right now without totally embarrassing myself. So I'll leave it at that...for now. I'll be visiting this again tomorrow. You don't even have to ask if I want to know how Pam spent her week. You know that, right? Bring it...like, yesterday...PLEASE?!?!
Author's Response: Yes, this is what I was sitting on. I actually all but finished it before even starting A Better Version of Me, but I felt like it had to, I don't know, ferment? Something like that? I have yet to even start Week's End: Version 2.Pam, but I've got some ideas. We might also approach A Better Version of Me from Jim's side of things, but I'm not sure. Jim's a hair harder to write.

This was absolutely wonderful. I could not stop smiling while reading this. Loved the ending, both of them so sure about where they are headed. This is being added to my favorites.

This is so fantastic, I really loved it and read it twice. It was very sexy too. Well Done!

This was amazing. I don't know if you intend another chapter, though I would love it. If not, the ending was lovely as well.

GUH. I just died of the perfect in this story.
Author's Response: Crap, I've murdered someone already? Anyone know a good place to hide a body?

I am so excited for anything else that you'll be writing in the future. I adored this story, as well as the previous one, and it's so important that you've kept the characterization of Pam and Jim so sharp. I really didn't want this to end, and it's definitely one that I'll be coming back to more than once. :)

This is so cute!!! I love when Jim repeats "Pam's Boyfriend" and Pam says "Jim's Boyfriend." That made me grin. i love Jim's thoughts about marrying Pam.
This fanfic makes me happy.

Oh my. This is absolutely bursting with wit and heart and sexy. So insanely romantic - and all the more so for being so real, so direct and unschmaltzy. There wasn't an instant that I didn't believe I was really reading about these very specific characters. I could cite many lines, but I especially loved Jim's ongoing internal monologue (I'm talking on the phone with my wife, he thinks) and this: He kisses her hand. "Oh, I like this."
But the point is, you didn't hit a false note. Just loved this - the kind of story that makes me want to go write something ;-) Really glad you're here.
Author's Response: Glad to be here, Colette. And you *should* go write something. Now, lady. :)

**sigh** HOW do you keep doing this? Seriously. This was just beautiful. I don't even know where to start. I love how Jim keeps pushing his boundaries, little steps at a time. I love how he can sense she is pushing her own boundaries, as well.
Your writing is so fluid and just gorgeous, Talkative. Well done.
Author's Response: Kells, you're making me blush... thank you for your kind words.

Fantstic. Pease continue the story.

This one is getting added to my favorites immediately. I need to read it again to give you specifics, but I love everything about this story. Really, it is perfect. Fantastic job.

This was really sweet! I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely liked the "I know what you meant" at the end. Glad they're on the same page.

You are very good at this.
Just so good. I wish I could be more articulate. But I just loved it.
Author's Response: It's okay. I think I broke my brain revising it so many times, so we can just sit here and be mute. Perhaps someone will buy us a Coke.
