Happy first story here!  I'm not sure what upset me more - that Pam was smoking, or that she littered by tossing her cigarette butt off the building.  (just kidding...)

Pam with a smoking habit is a jarring thought, though perhaps not totally unrealistic.  Hopefully she gives up the smokes now that things seem to be looking up for her.  Nice job with this.

I don't really understand the trend of naming stories after completely unrelated songs.  I almost didn't read this out of hatred for the Decemberists (and yes, I've ever seen them live, said hatred is completely deserved).  But regardless, it was a cute story.
