Oh wow. Okay, so, I chose this one to be the last one I read (for now, I do have to pretend to have a life), and this turned out to be the perfect one. Its so great, it combines all the senarios I love (and some I don't), and it just, it works so well and it takes you back into that split second in which it totally is awesome.

What a wonderful idea! I loved being reminded of all the stories that were written this summer, and all of the breathless speculation about which option we'll actually see play out.
And your writing here was incredibly graceful in its simplicity. Beautiful structure; there were several times that I caught my breath at the sweetness or poignancy of certain lines. Such as the contrast of Jim being a teacher v. suicide case and Pam being an artist v. a receptionist. always. (that "always" was perfect in its sad wistfulness)
