This is such a sweet story. I really enjoy reading it and cannot wait for the last four weeks :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me so. :) More soon!!!

Loving this story, xoxoxo! So realistic and touching at once. Pam's remark about the fireworks and Jim's tacit understanding...wonderful. Your treatment of their fight about Roy rang very true, and that conversation with Michael...priceless... Michael is so hard to write! And I'm such a sucker for Pam-watches-Jim-sleep scenarios... a nice treat at the end.
Thanks for sharing this with us, even when real life is being a bitch. You've brightened my day, at any rate. :)
Author's Response:
Thanks callisto! I love to write Michael. Next to Jim and Pam he's my absolute favorite to write. I so happy you're enjoying it and that I could brighten your day. This review certainly brightened mine - so thanks!!

I'm enjoying this so much, xoxoxo. Sending you a virtual hug.
Author's Response: I'm so glad NanReg. And thank you. I really appreciate it. :)

We MUST get a Jim/Pam fight on the show. Of course, being set in the office we won't get all the lovely detail you use here, but that is sooo realistic. You handle it deftly, leaving them in-character while taking them somewhere we've never seen. Fluffy, steamy bookends are good, too, of course! But I'm very impressed with your week 6 entry. Nicely done.
Author's Response: It would certainly be cathartic. Just writing this helped get some stuff out. LOL! Thank you so much for the review. I'm so glad you liked it.

xoxoxo, you can even make a week with no Jim very entertaining. I cannot wait to see what happens with Michael-Jan-Holly. (Not so much Jan.)
Heck, I even loved the fight about Roy -- especially the continuity about Roy's sister finally having a baby -- I guess that Chinese adoption never came through, huh.
Author's Response:
It was tough but I'm glad you liked it. I'm in the same camp as you. Jan needs to go on a semi-permanent vacation as far as I'm concerned.
And thank you for picking up on the thing about Roy's sister. When I imagined that 'fight' in my head it's the first reason I thought of for Roy's phone call.
Anyway - thank you. :)

yay for new xoxoxo fanfic!! Very sweet and breezy, and most importantly - very in character THEM. Can't wait for chapter 2!
Author's Response:
yay for Moxie reviews!! So glad you liked it. Chapter two is up now so you don't have to wait. :)

i love this. i love that they're so in love, that kelly comforts jim, that he PROPOSED!!! but most of all, i love that Pam doesn't automatically happily adjust to life in Brooklyn. She takes time to make that transition. This is real and honest, and i love it. i can't WAIT for more updates. i also love that Jim asks if he's gonna get lucky. just needed to add that tidbit :)
Author's Response: Aww. You're very sweet. I'm close to finishing up the next installment - wherein Jim is close to getting lucky - or maybe all the way there. ;) We'll see. Thanks so much for the review!!!

Well, look at you with the summer of long distance lurve fic! I'm just back from a few days away and too exhausted to type and be coherent at the same time - but what a great welcome home gift this was! I love the part about her calling Jim to come take her home like a kid at summer camp. And, the Philly Jim cut-out and her gradually getting her bearings in le grand pomme and...did I mention I was fried? Yet looking forward to more. And how much do I love your covering 12 weeks in 3 chapters? You know I do ;-)
Author's Response: I know. Don't believe the hype - apparently I am not done forever. ;) Thank you so much. I'm very glad to give you a welcome home gift. I'm furiously working on polishing the next chapter. I'm determined to cure myself of bad habits and post this sooner as opposed to later. Novel concept don't you think? A thousand thank yous to you for the sweet review.

This is really sweet. I appreciate that you went with the angle that Pam didn't fit in right away. After all she is a simple girl from Scranton and not a soho hipster. Wonderful job
Author's Response: Thanks PPC! This story really happened based on my belief in that fact. I walk home from work every night through some touristy areas and I had this vision of Pam huddled in a doorway desperately trying to make sense out of a map. I think eventually she'd get a little more bold - but I don't think she'd waltz in completely at ease. Thanks so much for the review!

So nice to see you back here!
You are one of those gifted authors who can pack so much imagery, story and meaning into so few words. Your Jim and Pam are so consistently within character in your stories and this one is no exception! Always a pleasure to read your work.
Very nicely done, looking forward to reading more of this one. Thanks for sharing!
Author's Response: I had a little bit of a day yesterday so that is certainly lovely to hear. Thank you so much for taking the time to read. I'm so glad you liked it!

she had been afraid she'd lost it but she found it hadn't disappeared.
That's a wonderfully deep description- of Pam's creativity, of her inner strength, of Jim's love for her, and, if I may be so bold, of the urge and ability to write fic from a certain writer. These are wonderful, vivid pieces. You particularly evoke Pam, who may be fancy and new in Scranton but who is scared and out of her depth in NYC, at least at first. And how lovely that her growth doesn't take her away from Jim, but just confirms that he's the one for her.
Summer fluff is good. Summer fluff from you? Excellent!
Author's Response: Lis you are very sweet. Thank you. You expressed exactly what I hoped this story would convey so YAY! So glad you liked it. Stay tuned. :)

This is terrific! Pam's slow evolution from terrified and uncertain-- "like a kid he'd left at summer camp," indeed-- into something more confident and sure of herself, yet all the more certain now of who she really is and what she wants-- I love it! Your treatment of her is very real. Glad to see you had some inspiration to add your angle to the summer fics. :)
Author's Response: I love the idea of a more independant Pam. I loved watching her come into her own over S3 and 4 - but I think as sure as she is about making changes she's still timid in many ways. I'm so glad you thought that came across. Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me so!

Bwah! I love that Pam still calls him Marky Mark. So do I. Poor guy, Oscar nomination and everything, but we'll still think of him doing white-boy rap in his boxer-briefs.
Love this little interchange:
"...I don't know who I'm supposed to be here."
You're not supposed to be anyone - you're just supposed to be you."
"I know that. And you're right. It's just I'm having trouble finding me lately."
When I was in a LDR with HooHusband I used to make him leave t-shirts for me after our weekends together. So sweet.
Author's Response:
I know!!! I feel bad for him - but not bad enough not to call him that. :)
Glad you liked it. Thanks so much for the review. :)
