That last line - “ When I got home I licked the Snickers wrapper clean, folded it in half, and tucked it into my wallet.”. That’s *exactly what she would do. And there is no way you’d do that for someone who wasn’t someone you love.

And wildly predictive of Season 5 as it turns out!

This feels a lot like how they'd actually fight - really passive aggressively.

"I wanted her to expect things from me." Goodness. Season 2 Jim and Pam are just heart-breaking when done right.

I loved this story. The combination of the colors of the rainbow and the 7 days of the week made me curious, and I wasn't disappointed at all.
I feel like you captured their emotions really well, it felt real and like something that could very well have happened without disrupting the plot of the show.
Also, it was just really very cute. :D So thanks for writing this! :D

Just. beautiful.
I loved how you did the "fight" scene. That's as angry as I think they can believably get at one another and the resolution was great.
Author's Response: Thanks RRG! I've always thought their fights would be of the quiet, tense variety most of the time. Thanks for the review! :)

Just wonderful. I love the mix of the fluff and the minor angst. Please keep writing such great stories!
Author's Response: Well, I can't seem to help myself, so I'm sure I will. :D Thanks WhatAWaste (love that name btw), I'm glad you liked it.

“ ‘A violet by a mossy stone, half hidden from the eye,’ ” he whispered, his lips skating over my neck, lingering over the juncture where my jaw met my ear. “ ‘Fair as a star, when only one is shining in the sky.’ ”
OMG..that just...wow. This story was excellent, Callisto, and I am so proud that you wrote it.
Author's Response: If you repeat it to yourself enough times, I swear you can hear his voice. :D Thanks jilly! I'm glad you liked it!

That ending felt like a warm blanket. So cozy and so very them. Thanks for such a sweet, well-written story.
Author's Response: Thank you, LoveFool. I appreciate all your support throughout this story. Reviewers like you have made me fall in love with writing again. :)

Such a perfect ending, Callisto. I feel very content after reading that. Also? This little bit:
The difference, this time, is that he does that with me, too. I know I’m first in his mind with everything he does, and that makes me want to put him first, too. For the first time I feel like I’m in a real partnership, and it seems like anything is possible.
I loved this. I think because they really exude that when we see them together. A partnership - so true.
I also loved the journey you took here w/ little glimpses into the stages their friendship and relationship went through.
Well done. Very best of luck to you in school, and we'll always look forward to more from you. Until next time!
Author's Response: Thanks, kells. I agree--they obviously each have the other foremost in their consideration, and what makes a better partnership? I'm glad you liked this, and i really appreciate all your comments and support throughout this story! Thanks again and I'll try not to be gone too long...I have lots of little ideas that need to see the light of day. :D

Callisto, that was fantastic. I'm sorry to see this end, but what a ride. You basically covered the entire span of the Jim/Pam relationship, both the highs and lows, with beautiful clarity. I think I need to go back and read the whole thing again from the beginning now.
I really liked the ending with them settling into "home" together. So sweet. And the whispered poetry? In that voice? Swoon. I am totally with Pam on that one.
Good luck in grad school, and thanks so much for sharing your writing with us.
Author's Response: Thanks, Blanca. It was surprisingly hard to condense all that history into only seven vignettes. But I knew right from the start I wanted to end it with the homecoming. (The poetry idea came later. I looked up a lot of stuff about violets, let's just say.) Thanks so much for all your support throughout this story. It really makes the writing experience wonderful. And don't worry, I'm much too obsessed to stay away for long!

I don't know what I can add that hasn't been said here already, but I can say that it didn't take long for you to become one of my very favorite authors. When I see a story from you, I know it's going to be good. I hope all goes well with school, and when you do find time to write again, I'll be there with bells on. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Wow Keds, that's such a wonderful thing to say. I'm really honored. It's awesome to know that somebody likes my work that much. It really makes me want to write. :) Thanks for the good luck, and I'll try not to be gone too long!

Callisto, this is a fantastic set of stories. I'm sorry I haven't been reviewing more (I'm on the other side of the grad student/educator exchange, which means my past couple of weeks have been *bonkers*), but please know that I've read each of these chapters at least twice. The final one was particularly vivid - I could hear it, see it. Jim's voice was so correct. Well done and best of luck to you in school!
Author's Response: Thank you Talkative! We're all busy this time of year it seems, so thanks for taking time out to review. I'm glad you liked these--that you read them more than once is very flattering. And I like 'vivid.' :) Thanks for the luck, too. I'm pretty excited :) I'm sure I'll make time to sneak back over here, though!

Really a great piece of writing from beginning to end. I am happy to know that she felt like she was in a partnership and home with Jim after all they had been through. I will miss this alot.
Author's Response: Thanks so much stooges! I am also full of happy Jam thoughts and did a lot of thinking about what they'd have to go through to get to that place. I'm glad you liked it; I really enjoyed writing it. :)
