Thank you so much for the update. I'm glad we finally got to see Jim and Pam reconnect. It's so hard to hear Jim say that he'd be "lost” without Pam knowing they are legally separated, splitting the kids. Looking forward to rereading this from start to finish when you post the Epilogue.

I was so happy to see this posted. I'd forgotten about it since it's been a while but as soon as I saw the title I recognized it and was thrilled to read. This was tough subject matter, but you handled it in a very realistic manner, I think.

Grieving takes such different paths...sigh. How devastating for this family. I’ve heard that very few marriages survive the loss of child, but I think you‘ve given us hope that they‘ll make it---if they would just get some DANG GRIEF COUNCILING. AGH! It’s a bit hard to believe that they ALL haven’t seen a psychiatrist/therapist before now. Maybe that’s coming in another flashback. Please don’t rush this story along too fast. Your doing a beautiful job mixing the sorrow of the present with the happiness of the past.

oh my gosh. that is SO sad. guh. this story has sucked me in. the anticipation of waiting to find out what happened to her was built up perfectly, but now my heart just breaks for them. poor Jim and Pam. You write the sorrow of the situation so well. it's not too dramatic, but not too sappy or flippant either. i'm really enjoying it and i hope you update soon. they have to find their way back to each other, right?? :)

I was so happy to see another update so quickly! You aim to please! Sorry about my confusing choice of words in my last review, but it was totally meant to be a compliment. I thought you "built up" the tension beautifully with generalizations and left us hanging with the details surrounding Tey. You're definitely doing a great job with this and I can't wait for more.
