Sigh. I can never get enough of first-date fics. Especially if they're as well-written as this one. I really like the use of first person. It's fun being in their heads. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I had a grin on my face the entire time I read this. It just keeps getting better. Despite the popular theme, you managed to make this first date fic so fresh. Your little details (Jim's "Rocky" moment, Pam's pillow smoothing, just to name a couple) are just perfect, and your dialog is spot on. More soon, please!

I love the paragraph where he's thinking about their kiss on casino night, and how for that brief moment of time he was "unconditionally happy" and that makes him willing to take another chance to get that feeling back. Well done.
And really, these moments of the show were the best ever, so don't feel overindulgent about revisiting and filling in the blanks the way you see fit. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!
