Yay! I still love this story. I love the contrast between the sad first part, and the happy second part, and how both are great but in oh so different ways. But I'm glad they are closer to the second part than the first part :).

I really enjoyed this - and especially loved this line:
"It’s playing some song I don’t care for, but it’s better than listening to the sound of hopelessness and failure that clouded my mind prior to turning it on."

Love the story, but I'm guessing you're not a tea drinker! You don't boil water in a teapot; you add boiling water TO the teapot.
Author's Response: No, I'm not a tea drinker, and I know that's not how you make tea, but I was hoping no one would notice that. I didn't know how else to make it tie in with the "teapot full of memories" analogy. Sorry for the error...maybe I'll think of a way to rephrase it...rn
