Congrats on your first fic! And your title is perfect - what a surprise! If Jim and Karen had been broken up for almost 2 years, and the baby was born Feb 15, then the baby must be about a year old, right? I'm anxious to see how Pam reacts.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I was so nervous posting =) Yeah I worked out that the baby would be around 14 months old, so perfect age for cutie Jim scenes me thinks!!!

I told you this would turn out brilliantly, didn't I? You have no faith in yourself. I cannot wait to find out what happens next though. The thought of seeing Jim as a Daddy... well it does things to me, so I am super excited to see it, even if it is in fic form (maybe in real life... well real life TV in a few years? HINT HINT) But seriously, this was really good, I can’t wait to see how he reacts to having to look after Grace, and who will he call? Are you writing chapter two yet? I hope you are ;)
