This is a wonderful story. It is impossible not to connect with the heartbreak in both of them. What Jim siad to Pam, though, really did break my heart. I hope Jim can prove himself to Pam, I hope they can trust eachother and work it out, and I hope you update very soon.

Wow! Did not expect that from Pam at the end. Surely if Jim is feeling insecure, then Pam needs to assure him of her love for him. Her doubting him may send him the wrong signals.

I liked the first chapter, but personally I think Pam is over-reacting at the end of the 2nd. Yes Jim was out of line, but he said things in the heat of the moment. To ask him to prove his love for her after all he has been through with her is a bit unfair, especially just because of one mistake. I hope she realizes this in the next chapter.
Author's Response: Well yes Pam is overreacting. To me, I believe she would over react because it's their first fight and she's very upset angry over what Jim said to her. They both have made mistakes though and really need to talk it out when they're not upset with each other. I hope you'll stick with the story, it will get better!

I am intrigued by this story. I would really like to see it be continued! I like angst at times and this seems like a realistic portrayal of couples. Sometimes they say things they really don't mean and people end up getting hurt. Good job!
