Fascinating concept.

Wow. So beautifully done. Evocative of a very concrete, real time and place that is patently not Scranton, Pennsylvania, but enough remains that it is easy to know who and what we're seeing. I love the call-back to Jinx, not only in the silence, and the unflinchingly rigid Rule, but also in that she, herself, hands him the means to communicate with her, although at this point he can't and won't. More, please.
Author's Response: Thank you, Lis! It's nice to know this one's satisfying on different levels. More, soon. ;)

Wow--nice setup. I'm really intrigued. This is certainly unique, and I'm looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thanks, NanReg! I did only a perfunctory search for similar stories, and didn't find one. Glad to hear it's different!

Author's Response: Thanks, untherapy -- I'm enjoying it, too :)

Wow, what a cool concept! I loved the way you painted such a striking picture of this scene. I'm definitely looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thank you, Azlin! Hopefully I can keep that imagery coming...

Read twice - once before and once after the series description. First time, very visceral and it made me think of A Handmaid's Tale. Second time, it took a second, but when the jinx light went off over my head, wow. Such a cool idea, plus it's you, so it'll be way more than just a cool premise. Looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you, Sweetpea -- that's a great vote of confidence!
