i must admit, that was kind of confusing, but it's realistic in that you've showed them weighing their options. i admire that in this chapter. i can't wait to see what happens next, i don't think i've ever read a story where jim doesn't go to stamford. nice long chapters - thank you!

Author's Response: Actually, yes, I've been working on updates for some time. I hit a roadblock, and when I finished the third chapter, I decided not to post it until I could write at least one more, and map it out more. I didn't put enough thought into it in the beginning and had to backtrack when I was already two chapters in. But, in short, yes. =)

Quite interesting. I always figured Pam called off her wedding mainly because Jim actually left and because she missed him so much that's how she realized she loved him more than Roy. So I'm looking forward to see how things pan out with Jim staying.
Btw the chapter was great. I think you portrayed Jim's feelings perfectly. Hoping for a quick update :)
