This was so beautiful...so so so many lovely moments in here that I can't even begin to start listing them, becuase by the end I would have listed the entire story.
Really enjoyed the order than you used here--kept things really interesting throughout. Particularly loved your words to describe Jim's thoughts at the beginning and so many other little things--Michael knowing who Pam really misses, the memory archeology, both of their lingering uncertainty at the beginning, and Pam's "okay" at the end--all so wonderful and true.
Please don't hesitate to post something this good again :)

He looks so beautiful to her she could weep. I rather feel that way about your story. It's wistful and lovely and nicely steamy in the middle. Much of this could still play out this way. Here's hoping whatever they come up with has half as much integrity and grace.
