wow, such a great one-shot! i really liked how this turned out, and the pam/roy hug was sweet and really fitting. nice job and i would elaborate more if i wasn't so tired! beautifully done!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I thought Roy deserved to be depicted a little more realistically than some have, with him being such a jerk or whatever :)

i really like this. i'm glad you decided not to turn roy into an ass, because roy really is a good guy. yeah, he took his relationship with pam for granted, and he let his jealousy get the best of him once or twice... but it was obvious that he and pam HAD been in love at one point.
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I know I have said it so many times, but I will continue to, I'm sure; I don't think Roy's a bad guy either. I really believe they loved each other too, and were in love, but of course people change and such.

Author's Response: Thanks :) I'm kind of a big FRIENDS nerd too and Ross said something about being a sea horse so he could carry the baby, and also be far away in the sea, when Rachel was pregnant with Emma and acting all crazy...that line always made me laugh and it just kind of came to me for this one so I had to use it here.

I really like this! I too don't see Roy or Karen as bad people. In fact, everyone is always saying that Jim Halpert is the type of man they want as a boyfriend, when in reality he was a very crappy boyfriend to his previous girlfriends. Roy wasn't a bad guy, he just wasn't the one for Pam. He got hurt pretty badly in the process as well. Now if only the show could find a way to bring Amy Adams back as they occasionally bring Roy and Karen back! :)
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I agree that Jim is not a good boyfriend/fiance/soon-to-be-husband to anyone but Pam, haha. I guess since everyone wants Jim as a boyfriend, that means they also just want to be Pam, right? To Jim's credit though, at least he tried, albeit more-so with Karen then with Katie, so you can't fault him entirely. Bringing Katie back would be pretty interesting, I wonder what would happen...I feel another story coming on... :)

Author's Response: Thank you :) I like that Roy still randomly shows up sometimes, like in Crime Aid, and there's no animosity between him and Jim. And I'm also very glad they gave Karen a good ending and that she's happy too.
