Just anted to add another quote from chapter one that led to the confusion about the age difference of the two eldest
" Pam marveled at the differences between Jackson and his big sister. Just as she was now as a four year old, Olivia had been a noisy baby"

GREAT job with this. I just wrote a longer, more glowing review and somehow 'lost' it so forgive me for this not being all that and I hope yo'll accept me sayin you are really talented.
I wanted to addres the reviewer before me. I, too had thought in the beginning that there were 3-4 yrs between the two eldest children so when I read this review I went back and rerad and that coms from the very first chapter, here's the quote....
"Olivia was at the crib, which was now painted beautiful shades of blue and green, much different than when Olivia had occupied it three and a half years earlier"
Reguardless, I love this entire piece, GREAT job!

Aw, I loved this one! Short n' sweet. Very sweet. Just to be clear, what's the age difference between Liv and Jack? In the early chapters, it was three-four years, but in later ones, it was only two.... But I really enjoyed this one, it was realistic, fluffy, and just plain fun. JAM's always in character, and I love the kids you've created for them!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review :) I like the short and sweet stories, I think they're my favorite to write. I checked my notes just to be sure because I always plan their ages before I write the chapters and the difference between Jack and Liv is 2 years, the difference between Jack and Gavin is 4. I checked past stories, which ones did it look there was 3 or 4 years?

My brother and I used to fight like this all the time, it brings back memories! Nice job seeing Jim not be a perfect parent and losing his patience, even with his pride and joy.
Author's Response: Thank you :) I think for the most part he'd be a great dad but he's going to have his good and bad days, just like any other. But he'd be way hott either way, haha.

This was so well written, so many moms experience this and it is not uncommon at all. My sister had a very similar reaction and it was tough but they got through it and I really liked this chapter a lot too. Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks, I am glad it came across as realistic. Even with their brood of children I always want it to be as realistic as possible.

This was done nicely. I have been lurking on MTT for a long time but never commented before. I've seen a lot of stories similar to this and there are not many who do this well. This is one of them. Nice work.
Author's Response: Thank you, I appreciate the review :)

So adorable! I babysit a pair of siblings and the "he took my seat argument" sounds strangly familiar :)
I agree, following the Halpert homelife, would be out of place for the show. Sigh..I guess I'll just have to live it through fanfics!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, I'm glad you liked it! I am working on another couple chapters so hopefully that will help with not seeing this stuff on the show :)

YAY I've missed Liv, so what a nice surprise to wake up to this morning =)
Awesome!!!
Author's Response: JHalpert (Jenn) and I have kind of decided Liv is our favorite too. It almost makes me feel bad because I focus stories on her and push the other kids to the back burner. Hopefully I can focus on all of them a little more evenly in the future, but I'm glad you enjoyed this one and I may even have something else up by the end of the week.

I think first review for this chapter woop woop! Sarah you know I love these kiddos and their naughtiness mmmm daddy jim just keeps getting better. another fantastic chapter it was so nice to see work from you again :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm got some others here and there, so maybe I am feeling it again, hopefully this last long enough for me to give some attention to Gavin and Maddie! Those poor kids get no love!

Even though it's now probably AU, I still really love this story! Please continue it! The kids crack me up -they're so great and original. And yes, the girls would TOTALLY play a name game. I'm a little confused about the timeline...exactly how old was Olivia when they found out Pam was pregnant again? And how old are the boys in relation to the girls?
Keep up the fabulous work! And, I'm not gonna lie, the fangirl in me loved seeing the full name "Madeleine Halpert"...(not that even if they existed I would ever, ever, ever, ever consider or even want to consider doing ANYTHING to screw up that relationship)
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing, I feel bad for kind of putting this story on the back-burner while Jenn and I work on 'Letters' but I have a couple chapters close to being done so I will post more soon.rnrnI know, I hate that it's AU now! But I knew it would happen eventually *Sigh*rnrnJust an FYI since you asked: Liv would have been 19 when they found out Pam was pregnant and home from college for the summer; Jackson is supposed to be 17, Gavin 13 and Maddie 10.

eeeek cuteee :)
Author's Response: Thank you!

amazing.. as usual Sarah. I love their kids lol. Ooh I'm excited to know the names.. I'm just putting it out there, I cracked up saying 'Heath Halpert' aloud, that's a mouthful. Jayden and Emily are my favorite though ;)
Author's Response: Yeah, I was going for 'obnoxious' with some of them, I'm glad it worked. As for Jayden, I LOVED that name for so long. Then when I was student teaching a few years ago in a Kindergarten class and had two little boys with that name. Was was psychotic, at five years old, and when he got mad he would hit himself in the face and head repeatedly. The other threatened to stab me with a pencil and was about four feet tall, yes, also at age five. But it is still a nice name...

Again, wonderful job. I'm going to stop telling you how great these are in our emails so that I can say them all in this little box, where they deserve to go. This chapter was so much fun and I loveeee the development of Liv and Jack as teenagers. I love this little family...can we meet the new baby next?
Author's Response: She or he will be making an appearance VERY soon, and expect Livy, Jack, Gavin and Maddie to have A LOT to say about it, haha. Thanks as always for the review, dear :)

Uh Oh, they are in big trouble now...
I like this story lots.... Future Jim and Pam, complete with a big family, makes me feel happy.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it, thanks for taking the time to leave a review! And I'd LOVE for their future to look something like this, I think they'd be good parents but not without some trouble of course!

So freaking amazing, loved it :)
Author's Response: Yay! Thanks for reviewing and letting me know that someone is enjoying them besides me :)

ummm AMAZING! best chapter so far, can I just say I love seeing all four kids older.. it's beautiful
Author's Response: Thank you so much :) This one was the hardest to write for me, I wanted it to be realisticbut writing the kiddos as older is just tougher, I don't know why. If there's any particular situation you'd like to see the older kids in, let me know and I will do my best. I have some ideas in the works but will always take requests!

Ha on acing my finals...I should be studying for one right now, but here I am, lurking around on MTT. Fabulous job as usual, but you knew that already! =)
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! And YES! ACED YOUR FINALS! Because I said so, duh!

aww again, beautiful
Author's Response: Thank you :)

I actually love a little angsty sad Jim and Pam, especially if it was written well, which this was =) So yeah fluff is always good, but you're right, life is not always perfect.
But your fics are hehe.
Moreeee :)
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you :) The positive feed-back is great and I am so glad you're liking the series :)
Date: May 03, 2009 07:19 pm Title: Struggling
I felt like I was just talking to my best friend after she had her baby, haha. It was the same situation - she was convinced she was horrible with kids, and when her son wouldn't stop crying when he was a newborn, she lost it! So, needless to say, I thought this was really well done :) It was definitely hard to watch as she struggled with first time motherhood and I can totally see Pam acting the same way. It's a lot more realistic to see the struggles than a perfect pregnancy and a perfect baby who never cries and no post-partum anything.
So, I liked it, lol. Keep it going, this was great :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I just felt like after Take Your Daughter to Work Day, it was pretty clear Pam wasn't comfortable with kids, you know? I think she felt more at ease thinking about kids with Jim as opposed to Roy just based on little comments here and there since they've been together. I didn't want her to come across as too crazy so I am glad this worked for you!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the HUGE update!! I'm so stoked! LOVED it!
Author's Response: And thank you :) I'm glad you're enjoying it.

=) I love all three, but as always, you knew that already! And I love the transition you wrote--you know the one--it fits so perfectly. And I agree with Hannah, who needs homework? Not me! (I'll regret that later, I think...)
Author's Response: I'm glad it worked, thanks for all your help :) Don't keep putting these ideas about not doing homework in my head, you know I'm easily distracted!...And who am I kidding, we both know I jumped on the no-homework wagon a long time ago.
Date: April 25, 2009 11:54 pm Title: Potty-Training
This is so funny and cute! My favorite of the series. Please please please write more :]
Author's Response: Thank you :) I'm working on more, but grad school keeps getting in the way!
Date: April 25, 2009 09:36 pm Title: Father and Son
You have spoilt me, but omg I love you :) I forgot to say in potty training how realistic and funny that was, it's so similar to stories I've heard being told to mne =)
Jim and Jack = ADORABLE.
We need Daddy and Liv... and 100's more chapters lol
Author's Response: 100s?! If you like it that much, I'll see what I can do ;)
Date: April 25, 2009 09:28 pm Title: Loss
You are evil but I freaking love you for it!
Author's Response: This little snippet was hard to write but I felt like I had to. No on can have as perfect a life as I've written so far, right? I promise, happiness (mostly) from here on out!
