This is a very compelling story. I can only imagine the heartbreak of infertility and your writing rings very true. I love the way you have Jim and Pam's hearts breaking for each other.
The angst is very juicy, but I can't wait for the fluffiness!

I'm LOVING this story, even if it isn't happy. I read so much fluff, it all starts to blend together a little - the drama is a surprisingly nice break. Great job expressing the frustration felt on both of their ends; it makes it easier to understand how something so awful could drive two people apart. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter! :)

This chapter is just as wonderfully written as the last one. You're capturing the emotions and everything that happens so perfectly. It's an awful and gut-wrenching experience, but you're telling it right and you're doing a great job with the story.

As someone who adores fluff, I will tell you there's a time and a place for everything especially if it's well written - and this is well written. I wouldn't want to see it happen on the show and I don't think we ever would...but that's what fanfic is for to explore all these other things...GREAT writing.

Well, Sara, as you say, it's not all puppies and rainbows and sparkles. However, having a glimpse of those wonderful things about a week ago makes the subject matter of this fic easier to take. Very well written and very sad. I'm hoping, though, that if I stick with you, maybe there will be a rainbow at the end? Just sayin'...

This is imagery straight from Inside (a French horror movie featuring a pregnant woman), and I cannot get the absolute worst possible image out of my head. After that, the rest of the story is lost to me (I'm sorry).
And then she's laying in it, with the drain clogged. This stomps all over angst and marches toward horror. I'm not disgusted by it; it's just distractingly graphic.
Other than that, I appreciate your writing style
Author's Response: I've never seen that movie, just chatted with coworker, and this was kind of a shot for shot explanation of what happened to her :( It was very graphic (I guess I should have used a disclaimer on that one) but I think it explained how incredibly horrific it was for the two of them to have this happen. So, nothing to apologize for - to each his or her own :)
